So i was in Deldrimor farming those chests and i noticed another [AMP] tag there. You could smell the AMP-ness.
but anyway, i saw a few of you guys that day, how many of you are farming those reward chests?

But I already got my Crystalline (got it on my 3rd run), so I'm happy for now :)

If you mean the crystalline, sadly it isn't.
Purple, req 10, 20/17 sundering and max defensive mod. No inherent :(
But still, it's a crystalline, so I'm happy :)

i havent found a crystalline, but i found a req 11 dwarven axe, +17% while hexed, 20/17 sundering, +5 armor (physical)
im happy, but i still want to get a crystalline.

I don't know, I haven't really seen anything good drop out of them. Used to be you could sell even a crappy crystalline for 100k or so, but I am not so sure anymore. Saw a req 11 20% while hexed sundering crystalline sword of fortitude going for like 270k on guru. That's a lot better than anything I've seen come out of those chests.

first of all, can a 55 monk runner solo these chests? second: where do you start? and thrid, what skills would the 55 monk use if it is applicable in that area?

The area is Sorrows Furnace. By completing the Kilroy Stonekin objectives you get unlocked chests appear. By flagging the hench away so that they are off the radar, open the chest to garantee getting all the drops. Have tried it a few times now, all junk so far!
Good luck to anyone else trying it. And no, unless your 55 monks can solo all the enemies on that quest and kill them, whilst keep Kilroy alive. In any way it wouldn't be faster than just taking hench and getting rid of them for the chests.

I don't think it will be nerfed they will just make the real good stuff come less often which is an everday thing for farmers. Already some of the drops are crap.

Agreed. The rare skins (eternal, dwarven, crystalline and so on) are very low. Most of the time you make off with about 1.3k worth of stuff.
If you get lucky the runes you ID could be major vigors, which are about 4k atm, so thats a nice little bonus.

Only thing I've ever seen drop was a purple Serpent Axe (back in the day), I'm trying the run hoping that Yoshi's luck rubs off on me :D

I was turned off from this spot a couple of months ago because I never got a gold item to drop. Turns out they never drop golds, lol. Personally, I'd rather solo the bosses in regualar SF with my MM using this Henchie brute force rather than Kilroy farming. So far, I find that you can usually make a good bit per boss run and it is pretty easy, though not as easy as Kilroy which ranks just a little harder than (the now illegal) afk LB farming XD

You farm them in SF(Sorrow's Furnace) by doing the Kilroy Stonekin quest(it is redoable). At 3 points in the quest, unlocked chests simply called "Chest" appear after you clear out a mob. These can contain any item in Prophecies(I believe) including stuff from UW/FoW like Phantasmal Armor. As the link in the previous post likely says, Crystalline Swords are the rarest skins in the game and they, along with Serpent Axes and Dwarven Axes(both extremely rare as well), are dropped out of these "Chest"s.
They drop between, roughly 0-6 items all of which only come in the purple variety. To quickly and easily do this farm people bring a full team of 7 Henchman/Heroes plus themselves, clear out the mobs on the quest with the Hench/Heroesm then send these characters away using the flags. Once the Heroes/Hench are far enough away from you(Their names are grayed out in the party window) you can open the "Chest" and all 0-6 of the purple items will be yours. Rinse and Repeat.

sephis axes we're ruined by victo's battle axe (or something..) which had the same skin and perfect stats.. But they were one of those rare weapons yeah ^_^
