2 years is coming

As most of us know once u turn 1 year old u get a mini pet.
Well wat happens when u turn 2 years old. I think we should discuse that.

An idea is our own weapon thats green wit any mods we choose, an the skins can only be from 2 years old. Plus unlike mini pets where alot of peole got them then sold them. the weapons r automatically customized. It has to be for ur primary profession so u cant make 3 for ur war.

That sounds like an OK idea but you have to remember that they take the game econamy (sp) into account. Say someone turns two years old and makes a perfect crystalline *BOOM* the crystalline market lowers 20k. Not saying it would happen but gotta remember things liek this, and that much custemization is sure to casue alot of server lag. Not a bad idea, just needs to be thought out more IMO.

Ummmmm he said they should be automatically CUSTOMIZED, thus not affecting the economy with effects.

I think what he meant by affecting economy, is that everyone would create a crystalline sword, then the economy would drop on them cuz everyone would have one. so there would be a huge drop in demand for them.

Yes, it would lower because thats one less person that wont want/need a crystalline. So if every person that can make one, does thats apx. 100000 people in the first few weeks after year two a crystalline with perfect stats is 10m insted of the 15m it is now, give or take a few ecto. By the time of CH.4 they'd be about 2m and so on, and face it most peoples oldest toon is a warrior, like I said need to be thought out more, say only skins that you can get from colectors, that might work.

I doubt they will give us perfect weapons.. if we would get weapons it would probably be something like a candy cane weapon or a banana scythe.. (in the damage way)
Its just a present.. and for presents its the idea that counts ^_^
anyway i would rather have something like a mini-pet, a special kind of armor or a weird dye color.. i dunno.. something unusual and just... well.. funny. :)

heh, jk jk... well yeah nicely said. Maybe some kind of special effect like you have the divine aura for GW1CE, while emoting would be cool, though char based... i mean.. its 2 years, how many people still have their same character from the very first chapter.

I think the current "Useless" Birthday presents is better, I mean, if you get a perfect weapon then you're ignoring the fact that time played isn't supposed to give you any bonus (though this is untrue with lightbringer and sunspear titles also).

I have to admit, it would be VERY nice to have it. Even if it wasn't quite practical.

I think weapon is a nice idea.

For those who worries about the perfect crystalline well not everyone has a warrior thats 2 yrs old and not everyone prefers the crystalline and Obviously Anet wont give everyone a crystalline sword. It would be nice if they would create a specialy bday weapons where you could mod it as you like and it will be customize BUT it wont be a weapon that'S already in game taht way it will be specifically for players over 2 yrs old.

Well a lot of people created a warrior first.. and a lot of people have a warrior. but i dont think gettin us weapons is a good idea.

Ha, yeah.... hair reciedes on head and starts coming out ears.

If I were a betting man, I'd say another mini-pet. And if they introduce additional pets, they won't be 2-year-olds exclusives.

I hope if they offer a new line of mini pets they will at some point offer a line of mini-me's. You know something that will clone the owner. If they do they have to add in a feature that allows it to sit in your lap when you have it out and do the /sit command.

yeah i also think it will be another mini pet, not new ones just one of the old ones i reckon, but maybe you should get some kind of head piece, likea paper crown or something, or maybe a party popper u can set off in towns and outposts, it would be better if it was something that was 'customised' so people dont just use it to make a little gold, hey who knows, maybe a few years down the line u wil get beer for your 18th b-day ^^
