Is it the character you have the most hours on? The one who youve gone the furthest with? Playing with the most at the time? Whats YOUR definition of main character,and whats it`s name?
For me, my definition of a main character is the one who you put the most money/dedication into. s/he doesn`t have to have the most hours or the farthest jurnies, just the one you love the most.
My main character`s name is titan sevry
: war/me, 6 sets of armor, at least 500k invested into skills/weapons/armor, cantha tyria completly completed, and elona only to sanctuary

Hmm, I think it's the character you enjoy playing the most, meaning that your main character can change.
My main character is Destructo Blade, my assassin.

Yeah, I'd agree with your definition of main. I spent a lot of time and effort on my necro and I just love the different set ups I can have with him. His name is Ares Hades.

My definition of main character is the character you play the most on, just as a main character of a book is the character written about most.
My main character is Uzume Gabriela, lvl 20 Paragon/Warrior. I have done so much stuff with her that even after a month or so, I haven't finished Nightfall yet. I am a little over halfway. I have explored a great majority of where I have been, I have farmed sunspear points and Lightbringer points, and I have done a number of other things with her.

I think that a main character is a character that you won't ever get rid of no matter what, and that you have no problems dumping all your gold on. My warrior Kitiara O Mor Byrne has a 15k armor, I'm going to get her 2 more, plus I'm decking out her heroes (none of my other characters are getting the same treatmeant with there heroes), and I have had her for more than a year, and short of someone hacking or signing onto my computer and deleting her, I am never getting rid of her. I think that is a main character, like a teddy bear you've had since you were an infant.

Ranger from start of game (ranger is what got me into it, when i was playing against 1 at his house ^^) to the end love rest of my chars but rangers can do so much and look ace

Ohhhh well my oldest char is my Wammo but my Monk has the most xp due to farming. I have 1 of everything except a Sin since I've never liked them, I might make one once I've finished with my new Ele.
Favourite must be my Necro but I've been playing my Mesmer more lately and of course the new Ele. My Derv was played through NF and since has pretty much been left alone while I play my Monk through...My Paragon is still lvl 3.
Most of my chars have or have had 15k sets, I got rid of my Rangers Druids since I decided it looked like nothing more then bundles of twigs...for 15k! Necro still has her Bonelace even tho it never gets used.
Oh what the hell I love them all! You can't make me choose between my children!!

my favorite GW characters are my PvE dervish Zasalamel Nduku who is based on my favorite Non-GW character (zasalamel my avatar) and its PvP counterpart Todes Panzer. i love to play him because i can do damage, tank, farm and PvP with efficiency

I agree with pretty much all the definitions. Serenity Softwind is my main character. She is the one I make sure will finish all the games, the one I want the most titles on. I have spent a lot on her when it comes to buying skills and caps and keys, though not in armor. lol She is still wearing her 57 Earth Armor I got outside Sanctum Cay. I keep waiting to get a cool set. First it was waiting to get 15k in the Grotto, then FOW, then I thought, lets wait to see what Factions has...well, since I do it all with her, I go slow also, so by the time I got to the 15k in Factions, even though I found one set I liked...I thought I would wait for NF. lol Now, I just don't know. Not sure if I really like any of the Ele armor in NF. lol Also, have to admit...I like saying I have beat 2 games with only 57 armor. Though it isn't really that miraculous...I mean come on, it is only 3 away from max. lol
