'Allo my future friends! I used to be a Guru member but the flaming on that site just too dang nasty. I just recently graduated from college, living off ramen noodles and 4 hours a week reserved for gaming (THE HORROR)!!! My major is in literature and minor is in mathematics. I joined for these reasons:
1. Quick responses and friendly members! Beautiful!
2. Plenty of n00bz to flame (just kidding, I would probably get banned, seeing Jeni's authoritarian grip over Gameamp.)

Welcome to Gameamp. You will find that this is a much better atmosphere than guru. We are 100% flame free, and just to warn you, the policy on flaming is one mistake and you're gone. No tolerance. We were beginning to have some problems with it, so admins put their feet down.

I joined AMP too cuz guru had way too much flaming. You would see flaming at least 10 times in every post! People even said go ahead flame me when they posted. Enjoy your stay.
