Sure it would be fun but remember why we didn't get a panda as a ranger pet: China does not allow the depiction of them getting hurt. There is a mini-pet panda and therefore it can't be allowed to fight either.
I guess they could just disable the panda from fighting.

So, there must be a system
By the way, including this in the game means a HUGE update, and i dont think people at A-Net will think about it unless they have nothing to work on.
