Virtue server got a free respec today. as far as I know, all other servers are getting theirs nrxt week. on the CoH forums there should be a thread explainging it.

Nope. Every other server got theirs earlier this week. That is, every server but Virute. They got theirs today. Use em up, we're getting another one next weekend.

A respec is a feature that lets you rechoose your hero/villains powers, as well as the slotting of those powers. Really helpful for when you mess up your build.
Oh, and respec stands for character respecializaion.

Just to expand on what was said before:
A respec will allow you to rechoose your powers as if you were starting from level 1 again. The first thing it will do is go through all of your powers. After you've chosen them all, it will allow you to rechoose your slots. Once that's finished, you'll be able to place all of your enhancements. Any enhancements that are left over will be sold for optimal store value.
What it does NOT let you do is change your archetype or power sets. So if you're a Fire/Fire Blaster, you're going to stay a Fire/Fire Blaster.

Not really. Its because freespecs dont stack, and they released this freespec without any announcements. Lots of people were angry because it ooverwrote the freespec that they had.

Thank God for this! I royally screwed up my blaster the last respec I did, the second free one from the vet rewards and this will let me put him right.
And thanks for pointing out the Rodney reference Anachron. It went completely over my head.
