Last night I was running with my Stalker on Liberty and went to Grandville. The loading screen took forever and when I finally appeared, my computer completely froze on me. I had no choice but to do a hard restart. Then I logged back on with the same toon, and the same thing happened again. So I tried my other toons and they were all fine. It seemed to just be Granville that was messing me up. Has anyone else had this problem?

I havent experienced this myself, exactly; but something similar a few months ago. It may be that Grandville on your Server has been glitched through a coding error. It has happened on CoH and CoV. I would suggest you log onto another one of your toons and make a /Bug report stating your character's name (the stuck one), Server, the time of the glitch, and zone that it is stuck in. Either that or email Support at Support@coh.com with the problem.
As I said, this has happened before, so it shouldnt take too terribly long for Support to get a handle on it, but it will take some time. Good luck.

I know how you feel, I have had the same problem with Grandville on the Liberty Server. All you have to do is just set your graphics down to minimum when in there. That worked for me. The game won't look as good but atleast you won't disconnect when in Grandvile.
EV3- lvl 50 Elec/Elec Blaster
Dr. Mafesto- lvl 50 Robo/Poison Mastermind
Syndroid- lvl 50 Energy/Elec Brute
and...lots of alts woohoo!!

What i would suggest doing is to log into the game under safe mode. to do this on the second screen of the updater at the bottom of the screen to the left of the agree button you will see a box that says safe mode click it . this will automatically temporarily set your graphic settings to the lowest allowable to play and that might help you to get your toon out of grandville.
I do know that players with low ram or an almost out of date video card have alot of trouble in grandville due to all the graphics.

If you do a /bug report, also do a /petition. No one will respond to a /bug. It's for informational purposes for the devs. A /petition will get the attention of the tech support people.
