| wtf were the developers thinking? |

1) why the f. did they have to make every gd mission harder tehn necessary? its gone way the .. furthur then fun,, its not gone into p* m off..
2) they put the stupid ass heroes in to help out,, well guess what fgolks? instead of getting into a good human group everyone makes heroe groups which are utter bs.. cant get into a real grouP. and in the end guess who gets the effs put to themn? the guy with the angry issues to boot..
3) last chapter im ever buying
GOOD BYE
edit! the LICH was easier to kill then the vabian missions...

I beat the whole game with heroes, twice. in NF, not that bad... If your complaining about Hero groups, make your own.

So let me get this straight...
your complaining that the missions are too hard.
your complaining cos you cant get a PuG
well they make it harder to do the missions so it takes people longer to do which makes it more of a challenge. but yet people moan if the missions too easy. Remember shiro in factions, havent people complained about him been to easy to kill, That shows Anet have learnt from there mistakes, which isnt many IMO.
To get a pug all you have to do is type
LFG mission etc etc.
If the group cant find 8 people what else they gonna do. are they gonna go without 8 people or use heros to fill up the slots.

Sorry I just had to make a comment.
Of course their going to fill it up with a Hero, but most of the groups I've seen forming already have several heroes. I find it alot harder in this Chapter to find groups, and I don't think there's much debate in that.

well sometimes they take their heros if they cant find the professions that they want to help their group in the outpost.
Please dont say you havent ever tried looking for a certain profession for a mission cos i know everyone in this game has.

i have no clue what your talking abiut. i beat every mission in the game with heroes and 4 henchman and most of the missions are easy. i beat shiro and abbadon with henches so i know it can be done. sounds like if your not very good at gw that it makes you that upset you should find something else to play.

For me I found them fairly easy except for those stupid runners in the caverns but that is for masters so I guess that should be harder.

hehe.. me + lord gkar did that, i had my jin with crip shot (me{derv} + jin + dunkoro + koss) and gkar was playing a mesmer with crippling anguish.. so we crippled them and i killed my one gkar killed his one (with jin koss and a healer also)

Sad to see you go.
But I must say, i'm tired of all the complaining about it being too hard......first, with prophecies, everything was too easy. Now, with nightfall......everything is too hard. I've beaten once and almost 2/3rds of the way done on another character, making the opposite choices than what I did the first time. I havnt found any missions too hard, at the most I have to do the mission twice.....once that I end up failing, and a second time with a modified hero setup and I end up beating it.
I have beat every mission at least once with hero/hench, and you cannot match a humans skill with AI(at least not in a practical sense), so that goes to show that a single planned group can most likely beat any challenge out there.

Well, I'm going to agree with you on one point. Nightfall is very hard in my opinion. I had some serious trouble with Jennur's horde on my monk, and both characters through so far have been at Gate of Madness for awhile. And while I did have trouble finding PUGs in the earlier missions, once they got hard, like into Torment, everyone was looking for people.
I can relate to your anger, the other night I was trying to finish up my monk by capping all the monk elites. I was doing just fine until I got into the Realm of Torment. I tried to get the two caps there for two hours straight, with no luck whatsoever. I couldn't kill either boss before my team was wiped out, no matter what kind of build I was running. However, while I became extremely angry and frustrated, I didn't rage quit. I let it lie for awhile, and started playing my dervish. I figure sometime later, when people are available, I will go with some guildies who need it (*cough* Kanna, you better help me *cough*) and I'm hoping I don't have nearly as much trouble. I think you will just regret rage quitting. Join a better guild if you can't get real people to help you in the one you are in now.

I like the improved difficulty. I actually have to retry a mission on occasion due to failure; this rarely happened in Prophecies or Factions, even on the "difficult" missions like Thunderhead Keep or Eternal Grove.
It's also usually reasonably easy to find groups with at least 5 human players unless you're playing on a Paragon or Dervish, of which there are about 4 times as many as are needed around. However, since the last 3 slots would usually be where Monks or other support personnel would go, and since support players are uncommon, it's much faster and easier to take Heroes than to wait for an hour to get humans.
Also, the fact of the matter is that there are fewer players per campaign now, and thus fewer players per mission, meaning that it's more difficult to actually fill a team all the way. In some places, such as Dasha Vestibule, there actually aren't enough people to fill a team even if everyone in the town were to join the same one... So heroes are even more necessary.

but to be back on topic,,, adapt ot the game,,, hell I did just ran desert wit h an w/p beat all but 1 mision to ascend
this game is about players and built... if your built aint cutting it then find another
I tried a built first time with manly on bonus at those runner and it not worked so I went back to my old mesmer built and master we did.... am not better then any one but please it is a GAME so play it

Alot of people are saying that the missions are too hard, but one thing that Guild Wars has always done (at least as long as i've been playing), is that it increases the difficulty of an area (ie- adding more monsters) with the number of real people you add. I've completed almost all of the missions on my own in nightfall, and have achieved masters in every one of them when I use heroes/henchies. However, I do find that the missions are far more difficult to play with other people.
I personally enjoy it. I like the challenges, and being able to go out on my own.

I think the main problem is people can realise what they dislike about Guild Wars, but tend to forget the things they like in Guild Wars. Anger blinds them.
