So
Are we to have a repeat of last years Christmas Costume Contest or not???? If so lets get the ball rolling so people who dont have off 2 weeks at Christmas have a chance to participate!!

At the moment there are no planned Xmas Contest for on-site. In game nothing either, but we may be able to do a on-game costume contest w/ conjuction of the ampers all getting together (thru the thread by kidsake).
Maybe if people would be willing to pony up a lil influence (infamy) for prize then we could do that.
But altogther nothing is scheduled or being discussed.

If a contest (constest on villains of course) is done I will toss in 500,000 influence on Triumph Server. I'll make it 1,000,000 if someone can help transfer it from a charactor on Virtue Server.
Come on people, all those 50s out there have extra $$$ I know. Spread a little around for Christmas!!!

Well it looks like the loot is plentiful with the generosity of serveral good solid heros (and a villain), now you just need one of you overworked staff to pony up some details..... or even just dupe the one from last year!! Just something fun while there is still a couple weeks to work on it for those who only have weekends especially.

Del....DF was just playing. No harm, no foul. But to the casual reader it does look that way. I never think of holiday season past dec 31. Maybe its because I get to intoxicated to remember...hmm...have to look into that.
As for contest, I really think if we do it in conjunction w/ Kidsake's idea of Amper Holiday Party then we got something. Maybe set the event the week before Xmas...maybe the 22nd or such...no later....(give people time to get costumes and such). Then the staff will play judges picking some winners....3 for heroes and 3 for villains. Say 1st prize gets 500k to 750k, 2nd 100k to 250k, and 3rd would get 50k to 70k. This is all depending we would be able to get 3 million infamy/influence for prizes. Plus we could do a news post w/ screen shot for the winners (on respective site) so all can see them in their holiday glory. Give me a day or so and let me see what we can come up with.
Should be fun had by all. Maybe we can even do some reindeer games. Since there is skiing we could do races or who can ski thru the gates w/o missing one.

if i remember correctly, Path said he has abou 40 million on path of wrath. my head almost exploded when he told me that.
i say we have it on top of the atlas statue!
but seriously, AP isnt a bad spot for it, but just not in front of city hall. there is a grassy knoll where statesman got shot at in the NE corner of AP. or maybe in the park just south of the statue.

It could also be held in Galaxy City since that zone is not as populated as Atlas Park.
We could find some out of the way corner and not be bother by anyone.

ooh oh oh! how about this! we get all the ampers together and clear a spot on monster island in PI! that way its a bonding experience bred in battle and we can be alone, until the monsters respawn...
lol and i know the best 'out of the way corner' in all of Paragon: the ship in talos where the white cap badge is no one would find us there and it could be like a scenic cruise.

Actually Pocket D!
That way it can be more festive, for those who havent been able to Test there are plenty of areas to go to. And since we wouldnt do this till next week most people wont be in that area (as much as they would be this week/weekend).
And that is nice of you to nominate Path and his wonderful Influence. Btw...all judges get a 15% payoff fee to keep the voting clean.
There will be a news post by the end of the week on this topic so that everyone will be aware of whats going on.

Raz has almost 20 million (19.8) and I'm not afraid to give handouts, so we should be more than all set Inf wise. I only have about 1 mill on DoD (my highest villain) and hes in the mid-30's so I won't be much help there.

A time will be figured out once we can get a pretty good feeling that everyone is cool w/ that date. If we have a good majority for that date then I would say most likely the time would be after 8pm eastern.
Now just be aware if we have only a few people in a attendance (say less than 5) then we wont do the costume contest. We would love to see a bunch of ampers there and having fun. Hopefully soon we can get a news post up about this all. Its going to be pretty short notice so just be aware. But most likely it will be penciled in for the 22nd.

Well, I hope that the contest goes off without a hitch and great times are had by all that attend. Unfortunately, I work that night, like most Friday nights these days, and I won't be able to attend. I will swing by after I get back from work to see if anyone is around, around 10pm-10:30pm. I have confidence that you will be able to pull it off wonderfully :)
