Ok im lv 20 and still using the 30ap armor im a nuker.
Yes i know its sad......./violin
Im in factions and i want to know weather i should take the time to go for the collector armor or just buy the armor in K.C.
I plan on buying one of the factions armors once im at that point in the game,
if you think i should just wait and save my money, plz tell me some good places to farm around KC,
PLZ HELP!
P.S
I have around 5K now but no crafting materials.

Crafter armor is better than collector armor since you get the various extra bonuses that it provides. Getting max armor will increase your durability drastically since you only have 30armor armor, so I'd say go in for it. It's only 9k or so to get a full set from KC or Drok's, anyway, so there's no real reason not to get it.
Elementalists don't have too many places to farm around KC... You could probably solo Jade Brotherhood Knights outside The Marketplace if you took a couple of +armor spells from the Earth line, Ward against Melee, and PBAoE damage spells, but you're probably better off just taking a team of henches and clearing a zone.
Edit: Also, if you wait to buy Luxon or Kurzick armor, those are MUCH more expensive and you'll have to go through until then taking a lot of damage anyway.

It really depends on what you can afford. If you dont have much cash, take the collectors for now, it will get you through until you get cash, at which then you can buy the armor.

What i usualy do with factions characters is...
get to market place, get about 5k or so, and trod of to kaingeng to buy the cheapest armour there (750gp + materials)
all of this will cost about 4k
then make your way to HZH or Cavalon (Kurzick and Luxon Capitals) and get full kurzick or luxon (cost about 15k if you earn amber/jade, or 20-25k if you buy your amber/jade)

Both Factions (Kurz.&Lux.) armors are 75k, then you have to add in the materials and it could very well go over 100k. A bit expensive.

I thought each piece cost 1.5k + materials.
I'm pretty sure its 1.5k so in that case Kaineng armor would be 7.5k + materials.

itll take time, but what i would do is get the kyrta armor in factions, its max and cheap.... go around outside kenaing center and there it is, now that i remember more and more thats just 1.5 armor as well
if you have prophecies get the desert collectors, itll prob cost you 2 or 3k for all the materials

No... kurz and lux are 1.5 each... the additional cost is only for the amber/jade. Then you can also get 15k, but we arent talking about that
and no, the cheapest is 750 each with no inherritance
