I got with my monk in Granite Citadel and I just realised there were like 20 Mo/W's or Mo/Me's running around. You can see that they are bots, because of the way they act (they all do the same, walk to the flag with portal name one it, .. steps left and than out. If they come back they run to the merchant and once in a while to storage).
I was just wondering.. what are they farming? Never heard of a farm outside citadel before =\ I hope someone can help me with this! ^^
(This is not meant to ecourage ppl to get bots (I wouldn't know how either), but I was just wondering what it is all about)

I think they are farming that large group right outside the citadel, the ones that go underground then popup when you get to a certain spot. I have 55'ed them before, so I know its possibly, but I never farmed them for cash, just kinda a "Find a new farm" kinda spot.

Last time I was there, they were botting out of the north zone, which is why I think they were farming that group of monsters that burrows, then pops up when you get close.

Yes, also noticed them. I've heard of people farming the Avicara in Mineral springs. Due to the fact they are so far away not so many people farm them, so increased drop rate, in theory. However I don't think a bot would be able to get to the portal so don't suppose that's it.
Seems a strange group for them to farm, but I guess they are guaranteed to be there everytime, so good for them stupid bots with no brains.

i remember before factions came out, there were hundreds of bots in droks. The good thing about that was you were able to open up a trade window with them, offer up 1 gold and they would put the first 7 things in there inventory up for trade. You could get some good stuff of um. mainly you would get a hell of a lot of tusks :P

Yes they go out the North exit.. still wondering what they are doing there. Seems a strange group to farm if you ask me!

LOL. I must admit to silencing one or two of them from time to time, as a help to the community, I assure you. Pick a bot which is advertising unid gold avicara things and invite him to your group. They join the group, then you walk outside.

P.S. Trying to get SoJ atm, but it just got nerfed so hard it's almost impossible to defeat all those avira braves and stuff >:( Really angry cus is no cap party..
Oh ye I hแd a cap party, we see the monk boss but we need to kill this outragious MOB for it.. than my dad thinks "let's go call someone!" and I get a connection lost. (Thats's so weird. We have ADSL, but we can't install it right or something. Now every time the phone rings or we call someone, internet goes out fow like 1 minute.. enough for GW to get a 007.
*so when my parents are gone I just pull out the phone plug =P. Don't tell them!*

The Droks bots never really bothered me....its all the ones in elona's reach that got on my nerves. At any point in the day there could be around 60 mo/w in that mission...so annoying.

edit: does this trading with bots trick still work? because that would be a fitting way of revenge on them, for getting the AI messed up.

well, i capped SoJ a few months ago, i just went to citadel to check on all those bots and someone asked me to help them which i did. the trick is to lure some and then run away a fair bit (more then the usual) at that point there will only be the monk following you, if not the monk then the necro. when you kill the monk, then others will run to your location, most of the time in this order: necro, mesmer, ranger, warrior. this way you can kill them one by one.
the new AI changes made pulling a lot easier, if you know what you're doing.
