Hey, im from New Zealand (+12GMT i think) And was wondering if I should be on Us or Euro Server. Any help is appreciated

I am on the US server, so that is reason enough to come to the US server. J/K :) If I were you, link up to the Euro server. Those gents consistantly have favor, when you reach the level were you want to do FOW/UW ya will have more opertunities and the shrines will be lit alot more for you as well.

The majority of the australasian players that i've met have been on American servers, as the timezones there seem to fit in with when people are online better than europe. I assume they've tried both before deciding, but I don't really know. Perhaps some clever person will give us a break down of the timezones :P

I'm in Australia and American servers do me alot better than the Euro ones did.
When I'm normally on GW America always has favor (Just the time of day I guess).
Also, when I'm on Americans are always saying it's night-time there and all the good mature players come out at night while all the kiddies are sleeping ^^

Im Canadian and i go on the Euro server. Mainly because they always 95% of the time have favor of the gods. Euro server is nice to hang and farm in u/w and fow until you have your riches. I have to be honest, their are some "mean" people in europe, who think they are all that. (Did not mean to say anyone in particular). As pickle said, in the american servers at night the mature people come out and play while the little kids go to sleep. Its really just up to you to decide, if you like farming and making money go to europe, if you like nice helpful people go to america. This is only my opinion.

Our Ozzy players are on Euro servers but they usually come on around midnight (GMT), this is when those players with lives are off to bed but the hardcore 3am types are just getting going.
You've probly got better chance of seeing lots of people online if you go with the US servers but then...do you really wanna play with those Yanks? :p

In the weekends I see US get favor between 3 and 6AM (GMT +1). So yeah... I'd say go for Europe.
PS: Is there any way to gain switches after you have used all of them?

Differences Ive noticed;
America; very friendly people, town and outposts are usually filled up, servers seem to crash less, faster if you are closer to american server.
Europe; usually have favor
