in all seriousness we need to get our govs to stop pumping more money into the armed forced when primary school kids are falling ill with malnutrition.
People in UK are complaining that the AF are getting poorer conditions than the illegals, which admittedly for the most part is true!

Wow that absolutely lost me there.
On topic though, It should be a good time that Winter Event....tons of badges, costume additions, and temp powers. I think someone said they will have a jetpack in there which is great. My lower heroes are starting to get low on their current ones. Always nice to have a new one and avoid getting travel power till later in build.

It is indeed live. I just ran a Snaptooth mission with my Illusion Troller...very very fun. Father Time in Pocket D gives you the mission to rescue Baby New Year from Snaptooth. Heroes and Villains can team up on this mission.
SPOILERS BELOW!!!
The mission is an instanced outdoor mission in a snow-covered Croatoa. You need to find the key in order to enter the cave to find Snaptooth and Baby New Year. There are mobs of Tuatha as well as quite a few Winter Lords. The key will be found by defeating one of the Winter Lords called a "Winter Guardian." Then you enter the cave, which is also ice and snow-covered. Mobs of Red Caps in the cave, as well as at least one Winter Lord. Snaptooth was an Elite Boss while solo on Rugged. Defeat him, then lead Baby New Year out of the cave and back to the mission entrance. I was only ambushed once. Upon completing the mission you have a choice of 4 rewards, each with its own badge (I forgot to write down the badge names). You'll have your choice of new wintery costume pieces, a temp hold power (Gold Rings), or a temp Self-Rez power. You can do the mission multiple times to receive all the rewards. The mission bonus xp was well above average also!

The second Phase of the Winter event is indeed live, at least it was on Infinity as of this morning. I have even seen the GM Winter Lord in Brickstown when he spawned from someone opening a present. Apparently, there is no badge for him this time around though :(

If there is a badge for him this time around, I didn't get it with the team that I was on at the time. One of my teammates landed the killing blow, but I received no badge nor any EXP for him.

Most def you get the badge for him, its in my badge list all shiny like now!
Does anyone know if you can get the santa hat/stocking cap from the glowing presents? I opened 200 in 90minutes for the toy collector accoldae and no sign of it. Got all the temp powers and a full tray of pressie insps tho!

What I have heard is that you can get the hat from presents that other players give you. It's a random thing like the influence and snowball power.
