I wasn't here last year, so I don't know if any of these items are new, but here's the list:

Candy Cane Shards: Collect these colorful fragments by questing and competing. The outcome of Wintersday hangs in the balance, and your contribution of Candy Cane Shards may make all the difference. Besides, you never know what somebody might trade for these once the festivities come to a close. Tip: Hold onto those shards until the Wintersday finale and use them for good (or mischievous) intent!
Fruitcake: A tasty holiday staple that is sure to put a little spring in your step.
Special Rewards: In the tradition of the season, you'll receive special headgear during the Wintersday finale. And even better, you'll get a new means of storing it, as well. |

I have some Candy Cane left on my Necro ... lol .
So I will see the difference between the 2 new candy cane and the old candy cane .

I still have about 1,000 Candy Canes from last Wintersday. I guess I didn't sell them off quick enough.

Oh Rogue, you and your titles.
I am looking forward to the Wintersday events, hopefully I will be able to participate in some of them. It was my first even after joining guild wars last year, and I have very positive memories. Didn't finish either of the quests, but I loved the snowball fights. I didn't know where to get hats either, but I still have my candycane bow. Very much looking forward to it again.

Anyone notices the the old Candy Canes are no longer called "Candy Canes" but are called "Peppermint Candy Canes." They've already started to get ready!

Umm...does anyone have any idea what the new way to store the christmas hat will be? Is it another upgrade to storage maybe? That would be cool. Yeah, Brynden, I'm not sure how you'll be able to get on during "Wintersday" considering I'll be on...hehe

hat storage ftw that makes me happy to hear that i wonder if you can store extra armor their as well if so that is a great present from a net to us yay for the winterdays lol and me being drunk on my 21 b day playing^_^ durring the event yup my character and me are gunna get drunk lol

OMG if you look up closley on the Gingerbread Sheild you can see the letters G W on the gummydrop eyes I wonder if there are gonna be new stuff like maybe Mini Grenchie!!!! Also I wonder what the Dwanya Snowman thing will look, its just a Ice Gollum with a snowman in the center I dont think thats really creative though I love them, and I wish there was more then just 1 Elonian town that got a Christmas look to it like the Bazaar (cant spell I think xD) it gives me a Lion's Arch feel to it cus its pretty and I noticed that the scenery in Lion's Arch is different then last years (unlike Halloween) like the Snowglob thingy near the Tree\Fountain thingy also the spot where the carolers of Grenth were (cant spell carolers either *blushes*) looks a tiny bit different and I hope they bring the pretty fireworks back I want them! Not the crappy ones like at the Dragon Festivle. I want the defrost some of the Ecto me need money toooo!! I hope Santa brings me a max dmg 15^50 Felblade with port and starboard attachments (Spongebob ftw!!!) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's to all of you!
