Crystaline Sword that I'd auctioned for 85k...and had a buyer for!
It was supposed to be behind my Inscribed Secrets and Trade Contracts so I couldn't accidentally merchant it. I guess when I was moving things around it got mixed in the shuffle.
I had to send an e-mail to the guy explaining what happened.

Well...it was my only my second Auction on Guru...the first had no bids...seems nobody wanted a Vampiric Celestial Hammer of Fortitude :p
I'm more pissed at myself for doing something that stupid...I'm usually VERY careful where I put things so I don't accidentally sell off the second Weapon/Shield set, Keys, etc.
If Death takes me now I shall not fear, for I have lived and life is good.

why would you just put in storage -_- i dont see how people do this all the time, i would just put it in storage, thats what i did when i got my crystalline sword from winning halls. i really dont see how people can do such stupid things, which could have been prevented easily, oh well better luck next time

Heh...I'm out of room in my storage. I need to create a mule character, but I'm out of spaces :p
Anybody know where the petition is for bigger storage? :p :p

Well, I usually do the same thing Knight does, and I wouldn't call it stupid. It's the smartest way to keep stuff if you ask me. My storage is full all the time, I don't have room to stick in random weapons. So I put valuable stuff and things I want to keep in my backpack, with a quest item of some sort after it all. That way when I go to the bottom of my stuff to sell, I can click until I can't anymore, and keep all the stuff I want to save. It works great, but I can imagine how this would happen, especially if you used the sword ever. When I am switching between weapon sets, occasionaly one of my offhands will end up past my quest item, and then if I don't notice it, I sell it accidently. This hasn't happened to me yet, but there have been a few close calls. So it's too bad Knight, but I'm sure you'll get over it.

I equip all my good stuff because when you try to sell somehting that's equiped (or assigned to a weapon slot) It comes up with a message saying "Are you sure you want to sell-------"

Dang, that really stinks. I did the same thing to my perfect Sundering Eternal Bow of Fortitude. The day after I got it, too. I was selling some junk after the final mission in Elona and I had it unequipped (just got a new Forgotten Bow) and accidentally sold it.

Well, my buyer finally got back to me...he was really understanding. I figure I'll give him first refusal if I happen upon another one. I don't really like the skin on the Crystalline, so any I happen upon will be sold to fund my characters :p
