I doubt that it will ever happen, and imho, that is a good thing.

I doubt it, it keeps things level. If they raised it, there'd be more attribute points, and such.

well gw is based on skill not level grinding so not any time soon. They may raise the lvl to 25 or 30 but will most likely increase the monster levels as well so the change won't do anything.

Anyways....
Due to fairness and balance, I doubt the cap will ever be raise beyond 20. Now if the new campaigns was expansions only, I could see it. But since they can be used as a standalone game aswell, 20 will be as high as they go. :)

Level cap doesn't need to be higher! i'd hate the level grind...
Be glad this isn't so WoW -like... GW isn't a game for typical RPG'ers... more for ppl who like weird games ;) like gw :p

As stated, it's a game about skill and balance. Not grinding. >:( I love the 20 cap and if they change I maybe even quit GW. I love the way it is and if they change they will make me very unhappy.

First and foremost, No. Second and more importantly, there's a good reason not to raise the level cap... Several of them in fact.
The biggest reason is because the balance in PvP (which GW is arguably mostly focused around) wouldn't be changed at all if everyone's level is increased. It would just open up some new builds while closing others; higher level cap means more health, which would effectively shut down most if not all spike builds, for example, while the higher level would also mean more attribute points which would encourage multistat splits (such as 2-element Elementalists, which are so rare as to be unheard of now).
The second reason, and just as important, is balance and challenge in PvE. If the heroes' level is increased, the villains' level must be increased as well or the game will rapidly cease being challenging. Think of running around the Maguuma Jungle with a full set of level 20s; that's about how difficult the Fissure of Woe and Underworld would be with a full set of level 25s.
And perhaps the biggest reason not to increase the level cap is that each and every skill is designed with a level 20 character in mind. Higher levels means that skills aren't as powerful relative to the people using them. Orison of Healing, for example, can heal a level 3 or 4 character half their health even though it's one of the most basic healing skills around because it's designed for being a low-power, quick-recharging healing spell for level 20 characters.
Last and not least, ANet has said they aren't gonna increase the level cap :)
