All you build makers out there that make awsome builds, don't post you're builds on Guild Wiki because then A-net will get around to nerfing them faster probably. Just tell you're freinds or something. Just opinion!

Yes i agree. Yet if it is an AWESOME build, and someoneelse finds it out ( eg by experimenting with skills) then they will get the fame. Yet its not about fame, its about effectivity

Uhh, I share all my builds, but most of them are commonly known. Why keep something to yourself when other's could use the build and you can help them?

If it's a good build... why keep it a secret?
I'd rather spread the word about a build that's very good (most good builds have a slot or two open for uniqueness) I'd rather have other people use a good build rather than... a hamstorm warrior for instance.

People always figure out my builds that I come up with b/c I use all of my skills in AB, PvP, etc. and I'm always being targeted by everything and everybody...

back when my guildy kane came up with the idea of a ranger swinging a hammer (thumper) it was only used so that mu guild leader could ascend. she had been having trouble so he came up with that build. Then both of them saw how well it worked and posted it on guild wars websites like this one. the build was passed around and got bigger and bigger. now how many thumpers do you see? my guild now has a rule about new builds after i created one that got out, got really poular, and got nerfed.
our new rule is that new build are only told to officers who we know wont leave the guild. its sorta sad, but after how much money we made off the build i made, we think its for the best
P.S. im using the original thumper hammer on my tank :)
