what's up? I start playing nightfall, really enjoy it. everything plays fine. I get to the mainland and try and do the "hunted!" quest, but it lags so much that I can't do it. I can't attack, the enemies can attack me and my henchman and I am only running sideways away from the battle or suddenly appearing somewhere else. my skills don't do anything. and I sometimes get disconnected from nightfall and have to log in again. it's really weird

hi, yea guildwars no matter what expansion it is it will lag just like that and you know what else, im having internet problems myself and having a hard time logging in even took the internet about 2 minutes to let me post here, do you use comcast?

It has never lagged like that for any expansion before
and I don't use comcast

I am having an incrediably hard time getting in let alone playing right now. I have a 3448 kbps up/down speed and lag like crazy as of about 1hr ago.

Tried multiple characters in different campains and still no luck, oh well maybe it is an isp issue. I have down multiple speed tests and am download and surfing with rocket speed. I will test on another computer to verify it isn't a corrupted install causing the problem, thinking that isn't the problem though.
On a bright note, on the login screen all my characters have their armor back.

I was on wow.. my game ran smoothly decided to take a break went on GW. My game was suffereing enormous lags spike and i got disconnected twice. Took me 5 minutes to load in. After three times said thats it switch back to wow. Game was smooth. So i knew it wasnt my Internet. And my pc is good enough to run guild wars easily.
Im guessing they having server problem again or gettin ready to install those new pathces for wintersday.

I will agree it has to do with the preperations for the event causing the issue for some.

I don't think it is the WintersDay event for me. It's been happening since I got the game and got to the mainland which was about a month or 2 ago. i really want to beat the game but i can't :(

I never had lag until last night, when it was generally unbearable. I got a good night's sleep though.
I dont use comcast either.

My lag resolved itself about an hour after my last post above. Not sure what caused it and don't care as I was able to get another stack of gargoyle skulls.

Yea, if your lagging now, it will get worse with the event, cause there will be a HUGE download, so the servers will be ran ragged, plus the districts will have alot more people in it. :)

yeah lately I freeze a lot ingame... can it be because of all of updates? Also, does anybody know why I lose connection when the phone rings? I have DSL but it keeps happening
