...but it seems that every third thread nowadays is a complaint thread. (yes, I realize the irony)
They took away this farming location, I hate ANet and their nerfs, I cant solo UW, Running is dead, The game is easy, Asian Farming companies have screwed the economy, the price of everything is falling, the sky is falling, dervishes are falling because they are stupid and played by noobs....
Are some people here so masochistic that they would continue to play games they hate? Is it really necessary to bring up the fact that you and your entire guild is leaving for WoW? I swear that I hear more "I'm going to wow" than I hear anything else. Go play WoW then. I hope it makes up for all of Guildwars's shortcomings and you and your guild are brought thousands of hours of endless entertainment.
Guildwars is awesome. Farming/Running is not dead, the game is still challenging, and theres lots of new stuff to do. Im not drinking the company kool-aid here, but this game is great. If you dont like it, thats cool too.
This place got annoying for awhile when it was a constant flame fest, and then it was awesome again. I dont want to get to the point where I dont come back here because its nothing but complaint after complaint after complaint.
/End complaining about complaining.

I didn´t read it all. But maybe for 1 complain there´s 4-5 good things, and that's why i still play GW.

And thats awesome. No game is perfect, but Guildwars had alot of redeeming factors. I just want to make sure that someone new coming to this site doesn't say "well, everyone hates this game, so why should I play"

I too went through all known ones today, and I came out with 22.7k and a shield that can sell for possibly 50k+

I put complaints on thsi site beacuse I honestly believe with all my heart that anet and nc soft actually looks at fanthreads. In the words of tupac "I don't know how to change the world but if I keep telling epopel how dirty it is someone will clean it up." So maybe if enough peopel are whining compalining showing anet what is wrong they will fix it.

I think most people complain on here to let ANet know what is not well liked.
They do tell us to do it constantly, maybe it is just a way to ignore the complainers but maybe they listen.
GW is a good game and I enjoy it alot but it isn't perfect and they need to fix some things **cough** bridges **cough**
Anyone looking to buy GW, it is worth it and you will enjoy it.

These, as you can see, theres 3 different types....they also seem to scale with what area your in....the ones in desolation give about 2k each. The ones in torment, 3k, the ones in kourna are 1k, and the ones on the starter island are 500g....but each of them always drops a gold. And you can only open them once on each character, even if you rezone.

Cool, I think Wiki mentioned that they were temporary but it makes more sense for them to stay.

I like GW and i dont think that many pll hate it.there are many reasons to play gw good graphics , gameplay, many skills and quests, chars are ppl not puppet scum , the world in gw is beautiful.I like farming and UW FoW SF.

ahhh i forgot items cant make players good exp make them good.In gw if u have money u can buy items but if u cant play u will die.I like this because important is to play good not just money

For a game that has no monthly fee, I wouldn't have spent over 500 hours playing it if it weren't fun. Happy Winterday festival!

That was through 1 character. So if I did it on all 8 characters, I would make about 176K NOT counting gold drops.

Great googly moogly!! :p I went to the one near the Troublesome Flamingos...got 518 gold and a Gold Soul Spire...I'd never seen or heard of one of those before :p Will probably run through those other locations later tonight...I just spent all but 105 gold for new Dervish Armor :p

As a side note -since one of the example was about it-, I'd like to say that -personally- I think that some nerfing from time to time keeps the game alive and it shows once more that Anet looks after GW with a lot of love :)
Yes, at some point nerfing has affected our favourite builds and chars but when it happens we have to consider that it's mostly done on overused builds and builds that have being at some point too powerful. If we want GW to be alive, nerfing is a good way to keep us watchful, to adapt and survive change. There is no much point on play an online game with the characteristics of GW if we are going to clone a build and stick to it until the end of the days. Yes, it's very tough to create new builds that works, but it's very satisfactory. When -after a couple of months- a build has been nerfed, you get this feeling of "Oh for GODS SAKES!!!" but once that passes... new research, new ideas, and when it starts working again, you get that satisfaction you wouldn't have had again if it wasn't for that bloody nerf.... and the world keeps spinning ^^. Makes the game a little less repetitive in one of it's main features: Skill combination. Actually, I think we should make "Nerf yourself!" the first rule of Guild Wars Universal Moral Code ;P

On the topic of Nerfs, I actually think they are good. From all the Nerf Complaints I've seen, it's been because of either an 'overpower' character/skill/etc or because of Solo whatevering. Guild Wars/Anet seems to be about keeping the game to 'multiplayer' point, but does seem to counter this with Heroes/Henches sometimes.
Then again, I'm just a new guy, what do I know? :) I've never even solo'd before, unless you count my Level 20 killing Charr to Piken Square.
