I think the winter event last year was cooler. The free jetpacks were awesome and I miss seeing snowmen all over town. Cryptic has got to understand that it gets boring seeing the same scenery all the time. Adding stuff like that gives me a reason to do more than just fly over the town and ignore everything on my way to missions.
What do you guys think?

I disagree. I think the addition of skiing and the Baby New Year mission were great. And I don't know where you are looking, but I see snowmen all over the place!
Now, I will say that I liked the jetpack setup last year where everyone who logged on got the pack automatically. And it would be nice to see some snow on the landscape.

I agree some snow on the landscapes would be nice...Ooooohhh Santa hats on the statues.. or Santa hats on the villians.. Trolls or Skulls would look awesome w/ santa hats!!!
Seems like there is less presents laying about. This makes gift giving a little harder. I would like to see somehow you could buy gifts to give to people, villians included.
I totally love the snowball emote! Past couple of nights we have snowball fights in Sirens!!! Its been a blast!! I would like to be able to give my villian friends gifts.
I do miss the jetpack =(
The new cosutme piece's are awesome!! Detra looks like a big candycane now!! I hated the santa hat, cause it made me looked bald. Earmuffs are way cooler!! I get to keep my pigtails.

The automatice jetpack was nice even though some have said that you can get them from opening presents. The biggest change I've seen from last year is that there does seem to be fewer presents scattered around the City. I do like that they sort of combined the previous two events by having the GM Winter Lord spawn from presents.
The costume pieces are cool though the boots and gloves seem to be rather limited on what you can wear and still have them show up as an option. I really wanted to wear them with a sleeveless trench :(
