Ok, this may cause flaming but if so I am sorry for starting the topic if it does.
Ok I was wondering what faction is the best for a new player? Or just any one playing. Or do each Faction have their own checks and balances? I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter

1st off welcome to the site, Rakdur!
To answer your question, in my opinion, I would say there isn't a best faction to choose. I think that you should decide what race and class you have the most intrest in playing, and start with that one.
I think you will enjoy the game more, if you are playing a character you are intrested in playing. Rather than playing one that someone told you was the "best".

Thanks man, I believe you are right on the faction thing i wanted to make an Orc and a Night Elf so that is what i have done.
Oh and BTW I am not really new to the sight at all I have a file on here named Yeaoman Sirus (I used him on the Guild Wars section) but i forgot his password and the email address I used for it heh.

I always figure if you are having fun, it doesn't matter what faction you are playing. Good to hear you didn't let the factions limit you.
Also, I can reset your password for you, to something you can remember w/ your Yeaoman Sirus account. PM me if this is something you would like to do.
