I on behalf of myself and the Heroes and Villains Staff of Gameamp.com would like to thanks those who attended the fun festivities at the Gameamp Holiday Party last evening. It was held inside Pocket D’s Ski Chalet and was a great time. We had ski runs and a costume contest with prizes for competing and coming out to play.
Downhill skiing may not be the forte of heroes and villains but we all gave it our best efforts. But only a few had the skills to make it safely to the bottom (and not cheat with travel powers….Path…no fly zone!). In addition to skiing we had a little dance party filled with snowball hurling, festive zombies, and more holiday cheer than the Santa’s Workshop on crack.
To cap the night off we had a Holiday Costume Contest where we invited Ampers and non-Ampers to join in to win gifts and Infamy/Influence. We gave out 3 main prizes for Best Holiday Look, Best Overall, and Ampy’s Groupie Award. The winner for Best Holiday was Amethyst Ice (not pictured below), Best Overall was Purple Chaos (level 30 Tech Mastermind), and Ampy’s Groupie Award went to Ice Gargoyle (level 16 Magic Brute) who is also our very own Redknight8. But everyone didn’t go away empty handed, for all the other contestants who didn’t win we award each of a prize of infamy/influence for competing. Below are pictures of our winners (missing is Best Holiday Amethyst Ice). Congrats to all the winners!

I don't ski. Snow and I don't go together. Besides, weren't you the one who Super Jumped halfway down the hill?

Sorry I couldn't make it. Last night was my RL gaming groups Solstice party. Wine, food, wine, gifts, wine, a couple movies, wine, music, wine, a couple games & did I mention wine?
There is always New Years. Since everyone will be working but me.

Actually, I seem to remember that as well, Grif.
I would like to say that I really enjoyed finally meeting a lot of you last night at the Party. And again, I want to thank Path, Bohdi and the others that helped my lowbie get a couple of the Holiday Badges after the skiing and contests.
