How does the wintersday event work? How long tell the next wave?? And how do i get all the hats???

The waves come every 3 hours. The next wave is in about an hour and a half. You are able to get 2 hats per wave by going to Lion's arch and then to Kamadan right after you receive the hat from LA. Most players go to even districts for Dwayna supporters and odd districts for Grenth supporters.

Just be there. :) If you wish to support either side though. You need to have around 10-50 CC Shards in your inventory. Stand on a circle suporting either Dwayna(Blue) or Grenth (Red). After about 15 minutes, once side will be the winner. And the winning side will give you a special hat.
Lion's Arch gets a Stylish Yule Cap (Dwayna) or Great Horns of Grenth (Grenth). Kamadan gets Freezie Crown (Dwayna) or a Jester Cap (Grenth). Now you don't really have to participate, you just have to be there. But where is the fun in that? ^^
