well, i was going through a bunch of back-up and information CD's (old College reports etc.) that piled up over the years and found this.
it's a shot of my RS1 Main Char hitting level 100. i was able to hit level 103 before retirement (that fatigue system was bunk). i look back in amazement at the amount of Hobgoblins and Ice Warriors that died to make that all possible :P
aye. the good ol' gaming days. :P

my non-combat skills (aside from cooking) are higher than yours =O
I never played RS1, just RS2.
I've even played with Botchu from AMP before =P

heh, yea, i hated doing non-combat, i particularly liked player killing, epecially when you could do it anywhere, before the wilderness ever came about. ;)
most of my player killing was done by jr. a pure version of my main, mad str, attack, crap defense and armor, but what the heck, most blokes were '3 hit' almost all the time so the fights weren't long :P
i had fun, i'd AFK train basically ;) it was a perfect game while in school because as long as you moved every 5 minutes, checked HP, you could level like mad. fatigue was the reason for retirement, after getting 90 str. i couldn't take the grind and more and sleeping bags are uncomfortable.

My wifey plays RS alot, I'm tempted to play while at work O.o ..I don't know if it can be tracked. I know its browser based but you still go through their server. I know I may get negative comments about this post but seriously at my job I sit in front of a computer all night, My paperwork takes me 10 minutes and thats all my job requires so yeah....sit here and do nothing all night and dont use this high speed net connection for anything. lol

Aw Runescape, I miss back then when I played that game. I was so soo innocent slaying cows. I believe all kids that want to play games should play "Ye Old' Games" of our past before they move on to modern time games. We learn history in school about our past, we should do the same with games.
And now I think the sudden lack of sleep has started to affect me...
Made for another forum I go on, Just felt the need to do something with this sig.

Yeah i used to play RS2 before aswell
man that game was addictive......
got to lvl 86 then gave up cos it was affecting all my work haha =]
luckily im not as addicted to GW

Yeah...I got to lvl 70...
I found GW about 3 weeks after I gave up RS...talk about a compounded wake-up call....first realising that I'd spent hours just clicking, which wasn't even fun...then GW shows that there are other games on the market which look awesome, and are far more involving...

Runescape is very unhealthy, and i played it once too, which was one of my darker times :P

and yea, i gave away all my stuff, party hats, etc. in a couple of minutes, then about a month later a person i work with, his 8 year old was just getting into Runescape, although it was RS2 the one i never played.
my account was traded to the kid for a case of beer, a worthy trade.

i used to be an evil person. now that i have quit guildwars, i can reveal somethin bout me. i used to play runescape. why? not for the content, i would just scam people. all day. everyday. i was a clueless 11 year old. i made people trust me with 500k of their stuff. how? i was slick. but, i got tired of it. then my bro got gw. i loved it, but old habits die hard. a dude scammed me with a collector shield. i simply thanked him, collected 20 of these shields, and made near 200k in a month. read next post>>

then 55's came around, and i eventually stopped such scamming. i "grew up". now to atone myself to an extent, i would farm just to give cash away. now i feel a lil better, as i made an 07 resolution never to steal again. in game or out. as a final bye, i gave my friend in gw/rl about 150k in stuff. kept my flame of balthazar though :p. he'll get that 2moro:). kitten you runescape, for darkening me. ty gw for enlightening me :) ill make a final goodbye post.
