When i was playing european servers for the favor, i noticed that there was a lot of b/p teams for fow. I went on one and we owned the place. Now i am on the american servers, go to ToA and say "b/p lf b/p team for fow" and ppl laugh at me. i got so peed off i decide just to trap uw.
What i want to know i why the american servers don't do b/p for fow, while u europeans do???

This might just be me being stupid, but over here you Americans aren't known for your near-godlike intelligence, if you know what I mean. This might have something to do with it.

First, I never meant to offend you or any one from America.

Which may just as well prove their superior intelligence ;P But, honestly, I don't know why AM doesn't do much other than balanced in FoW... B/P groups have always been fun in most places :)

I guess its just different strokes for different folks. I see B/P groups asked for in other places on the AM servers. Nothing to do with a group of peoples' intelligence just their preference and the fact that no matter where you live people tend to stick with what they have seen work or have played and worked good for them. Maybe its cause most people lack the creativeness to try new or different groups and builds.

B/P = Barrage Pet
On subject, Americans use B/Ps in FoW often but mainly that's our Tombs build. Our FoW is mainly a Battery, 1 Ranger (Caller), Monks, 1 or 2 Warriors, and Nukers/SS. We just run through FoW quicker with it but it's not due to lack of intelligence. It's just different styles amongst different players.

my theory:
we can just compare this things with different cultures.
people tend to do thing most of the people do near them
its like learning from your peer-group - learning from the society ur living... a nice example is the art of eating... almost all americans eat with spoon/knife and fork while another culture such as japanese eat with chopsticks... even though they know from the existence of another means of eating they still stick to the one they grew up with... this phenomenon is comparable with the way ppl in diff countries (meaning US, europe, asia) play... its their style - their "GW culture" in which they "grew up" with - their own "GW society"
just my 2 cents

well there are still poeple who are tolerant, curious experimentuous (does this word exist?) XD
that's why new builds are born... new "GW cutures" are raised... old "GW societies" evolve... continents unite with each other... just like the states in north america unites to USA... just like european countries form the UN
dunno what im writing but im proud of it hehehe

how come we take a good question about a subject in game and turn it into a "i'm better than you" and political topic? guild wars has enough in game politics for a website dedicated to it. i think i speak for many when i say i play guild wars to relax and come on here to find suggestions and good debates not to talk about the world and its politics. in other words i play guild wars and use sites like this to escape the world and a reminder like this is unwelcomed. all in all just leave rea world politcis to the pundits and the bloggers. this really is no place for it.

Personally I think B/P groups are very efficient in FOW ;-)
but..
If this topic turns out to become a we-are-better-than-the-other-continent-because-they-are-stupid-and-have-a-lousy-government
type of post..
it will be locked...
stick to the subject please ;-)

sticking to the subject... B/P'ing is fun! i enjoy this teambuild... not only it's nice to see 5 different pets and thousands of arrows flying around, but its also is a successful teambuild in either TotPK and FOW!
