The title and description are pretty straight-foward of what I'm asking but I'm curious about when I'll get the email with the code. I'm not sure if it's going to be 2 days after you sign up like Exteel. But has anybody gotten the game client yet? Thanks-Groonville

This game is not as far along as exteel or dungeon runners. Don't expect any quick repsonse. In fact don't expect any response. I don't know if they have even started beta testing yet. But if you don't sign up, you will for sure never get in. Good luck!

Currently beta is in "Friends and Family" - For people that signed up I am not sure on the ETA.

All signed up been accepted and waiting for my beta invite to, got an email stating it's in family testing currently.
Email goes on to add they will be inviting small groups 1 at a time when it hits closed beta, so you may have to wait after Closed Beta starts.

I received that too. Game looks great and people should enjoy it. Very different perspective for an MMO world, hopefully gamers will take to it. Add to this its also one of few mainstream Sci-fi MMOs.

Good luck getting into the beta....I got an email yesterday with a key to join the closed beta....guess I got lucky.
As for the game, its actually pretty fun, I dont know if I would pay to play it(which it seems to be that way upon release), mainly because I think paying for the game is enough....but, if it was free to play online, it would probably be the next game I would get.
Anyway, good luck getting into the beta, anyone else here in it? Would be neat to have some people to play with.
EDIT: EKK, didnt realize this was over a month old....still, good luck.

We have to sign non-disclosure agreenments as part of this beta so dont be surprised if not too many people answer you.

Two people in my multi-game clan are in the beta right now and we've entered the clan contest to win 25 beta keys. And they've added us to the clan listing on the official TR site and we're at the top of the list. Whoooo! (it's just in alphabetical order though, lol :P)

Yup, you can buy a preorder copy from your local games store and that gets you into beta now. The last release date I heard is for October 4th. Not far away at all.

I have been in beta for a while now - it is running pretty well if you have a solid minimum requirements computer and is still respectable on a CoH or so computer set to 800x600.
I found that the time went way too fast and only being able to get on Tue/Thur/Weekend is driving me up the wall on the off days ;0-)
IMHO - great progress since last fall - mostly seem to be look/feel stuff getting tweaked - I have not encountered any true performance problems since starting beta.

If you do get in from the gamespot thing, don't waste you're time trying to download it from them. Go here:
ftp://ftp.playtr.com/
and download and run install_tabula_rasa.exe
It goes much faster. :)
