Guild Wars says that it's rendering with Direct X 8 still but i downloaded Direct X 9
i can run Guild Wars with the highest Graphics settings and everything
does this have to do with the fact that my Graphics card is "unsupported"

I think that your graphic card is of a Direct X 8 type and not Direct X 9 type. So your card supports all Direct X 8 features but not the Direct X 9 features that newer cards support.

Yeah, forgot the new series. Anyway I do not have one (yet) so I won't think about them cause they make me drool. <.<

well i ran one of those Direct X diagnostics and it said that i have direct x 9
well mabey it would help if i told you that i have a Radeon 7500 series Video Card

it may say that your running with dx9, but i beleive gw uses dx8, so thats why you would run dx8 when playing

Yeah but that's not the same thing. The Video Card you have have Direct X 8 support, while you can still use a better Direct X version on your computer.

Ah the 7500 series...guildwars runs on max graphics with that? I had a 8000 or something like that running horribly...unless...eh
