I'm not asking about farming spots or anything like that. Just plain and simple, what's your favourite place in GW and why?
For me, it's presearing. I love the music and the sense of new discovery that you get when you first start a new game. For me presearing sums up all there is about GW, the excitement, the fantasy feel, the way everything is happy. Even the Charr are under control, there's no undead zombies or killer gods just fun! Everytime I'm bored of GW I just back to presearing because I love it!

personnally, i enjoy farming around desert and cantha beginning island. I dont really enjoy the nightfall beginning island, it drains on to long and it kinda morphs from desert to rainforest to like, bog/swamp and ya...elona big part is cool though.

Way deep in the Hidden City of Abadashim the scenery back there is so beautiful, I tend to go AFK in the hidden city for hours.

You guys make me want to start ANOTHER pre-searing character... Yeah, gotta love pre-searing. The wind through the treas, the whole look and feel of the thing.. Gorgeous en serene. Such a place in the real world makes me mind calm and at peace again within 5 minutes.... (and believe me... I can be a real hothead...)
Bottom line: pre searing, definately.

Michiel

There are so many places that I love but time and again it's parts of the Echovald Forest that do it for me, the light is incredible in some parts and gives it real depth.

My favorite is probably the Realm of Torment. I like the darker look it really sets the mood for battling evil. Next would probably be the Echovald Forest. Oh and favorite for Prophecies would be Southern Shiverpeak Mountains.
I'm neither here nor there but everywhere. I am who I am and nothing more but yet I'm nothing less than what I strive to be.

First I like certain spots in Vabbi with the Light Blue/Gold mixes on the architecture (Forum Highlands mostly). Second I have to go with Pre Searing, great scenery. Third is the Realm of Torment. Just because it's the Dark Abyss of GW.

I have quite a few favourite places... Crystal Desert, Northern Shiverpeaks, Sanctum Cay areas, Pre-Searing...
Above all else, I'd probably go with Anvil Rock in the Northern Shiverpeaks, that place is just so awesome. Snowing, mountains, open areas... makes the best place. :P

Crystal Desert, because that's probably the first place where going aorund with only henchmen doesnt work. Plus...the first Elites, lvl 20 monsters(that i can think of), and green items. In post searing, i spend most of my time in the desert.

I have to say, even after both the new games, my favorite place in all of Guild Wars is still Serenity Temple, I just love it there. It's part because of the layout and part because of the name, I just like it, "Serenity Temple."

My favorite place in Guild Wars would be Random Arenas <3
As bad as the randomness in there can get, I find it to be quite a nice little beach.

I like all of the southern shiverpeaks, but sorrows furnace is my favorite.
I enjoy standing against the stone summit stronghold in the depths of the frigid mountains.

Personal favorite is the beach near the ascalon settlement and pretty much most place in Kryta.... not just because White Mantle Justicar armor is freakin amazingly hawt either... :D
Nothing in any other of the campaigns has been to my liking like that has yet.
Since I swore off PvE for a while I dunno if I'll find anothe rplace quite like it.
The only place that comes close is when you get deep inside FoW... it's all lava based and scary.... yet beautiful at the same time :D

Pre rocks, i wish it was bigger, with level 30 dragons :) .
Getting lost in catacombs when i was nooby was fun, also the forest to the south east.
They should make another chapter that completly that sort of environment.
Also warcamp is a nice place to go and sit .

My favourite place is in Nighfall and it's Nundu Bay. Somehow I love the ocean scenery, the beach, kids jumping around and the merchants, the sounds of seagals squeeking far far away... the abandonned boat corner, where you can relax and watch the horizon... The explorable area outside Nundu is so catching I just can't help stopping for few seconds and listen to the ocean waves' soft music and, my hair floating with the breeze...

I have two favorite places, and both of them are in Pre-Sear Ascalon. One is the Catacombs. It just looks so lovely there. Another is the "hidden", just to the west of Fort Ranik. That place just looks awesome with the lighting it has.
