I just started a Rogue with mining and blacksmithing as her professions was wondering if anyone had any tips of good locations to find Veins? I am a human so around the Stormwind area would be great but willing to travel if there is a better place to go?

Well, I'm a horde, but i normally have the skill"Find Minerals"(wich can be found in your General skills page) on all the time, and it shows any nearby veins as gold dots on your mini map. Most veins I find are on teh sides of moutains or in rocky areas

Yeah, the best way to find viens is to turn on the find minerals skill, then run along the edges of hills, or through rocky areas on the map. Those are the places where you'll find them. Also, sometimes you can find a bit inside mines. If you're not finding much in the starting areas, it's because there's so many other people there mining at the same time, that you're probably hitting the areas right after they've been mined and haven't respawned yet.
