well I am sure a topic of sort been posted before but oh well
so here it be
who in you character is your favorite and why (make it concise)
so I start
Jarmina Dente
(Me/Mo ME/Ne Me/D)
why?
well Jarmina was to be stuck in pre to help guildies, but after I got lvl 10 in pre and could illusion many into oblivion I decided to try her out in post. At that time I had my Ele halfway through game. But and I say but Ele finish faction not profecie, Ele finished NF too, but here is the kicker, my mesmer finished all 3 chapters and am now having fun mapping for the cartographer title, but that beside the point.
the true why I prefer mesmer...

good back up heal support, plus can do major degen at same time (I KNOW i TRIED IT)
Me/N
Echo SV does wonders in some circumstances
(works too I did it)

well I was in a capp mode so I capped Lyssa'a avatar and all the others for grin, I dont play Dervish and never will but I do have hero that may need some skills so if they do I get them on mesmer
... many may say what the hell why a mesmer, they no use in DOA or TOPK or... well you get my drift
why mesmer, cause honestly I found it is the most versatile class around and one the funniest to play, I got lvl 1 skill hunter with mez and hero hench (except those in gates of pain)and those skill were for mesmer, necro, monk + the dervish avatar. of those am missing 1 monk skill and 1 necro skill (NF both of them)

My ranger :)P
For a few reasons. One thing is that I am always the last to die in parties. He rocks in FOW. Grotto Drakeskale died white looks great with and ironwing bow, and prolly my favorite reason is that he can beat warriors (even rispo) with candy cane weapons :)P

My favorite character I have would be my ranger because a ranger fits who I am mostly. Also my ranger is a good trapper. While most trappers have around 40 energy mine always has 50.
Also I like the pet system, got to love the black moa.

My Elementalist, Luna Stellaeque!
She was my very first character and has always been my favorite. Thats why she's the only character I have in 15k (hydromancer) armor (and the fact that I don't think many 15k armors are worth it).
I almost always play as a hydromancer, at first because I thought it was seriously underused. Then I got addicted to water and hardly use anything else. But when I am bored about it, I can always change from hex heavy water, to painful air or almost indestructible earth. Thats what I love about ele's, they are versatile.

i'd have to say my monk has been my favorite char for the longest time, There are always more builds out there (farming, healing, pvp blah blah) and it can be a challenge (i want to be the best healer i can be, and im STILL not!) so she gives me goals :) ive tried running on her, soloing a LOT of things lol, and large team builds <3 She also doesn't struggle to get on teams.. (MOST of the time)
Though ive got to admit >.> im quite sick of being on her when theres not a lot left to acomplish, the things i want to acomplish require guilds :P and to be an amazing healer.. (im still a noob ^.^)
oh wells <3 my assasin for now XD

I don't know which to choose as my favourite - I love them all.
I love my first elementalist, since she was the one I got a lot of my friends with, and she was the first who reached THK, and she was the one I participated in the wintersday event last year.
I love my second elementalist, since she was the one I always teamed up with my ex gf, and we had a lot of good times together.
I love my necro, since she looks cool, she accomplished awesome things (prot of tyria, for example), she's very versatile, and she's cynical, witty and coolheaded, like spiderman. Maybe a bit more bitter though.
I love my ranger, since she's versatile too, she looks good, and it's a pleasure playing with her (NOT THAT WAY YOU SICKO). :P I also learend how uber can rangers be (all profs can be uber if played well, mind you) when my fourth elementalist's Jin saved the day the 50th time.
I'm not particularly satisfied with my warrior - I'm not good in melee, but as long as she can do a full Ascalon-Kryta-Maguuma-Desert run without a weapon in her hands, she stays. Also she was my first chara on my second account (which soon became my primary acc...)
I love my third elementalist, since she's so fun to play - she's a Fullcontact Ele, and it's fun to go melee with a caster, with a good result, surprising everyone.
I love my ritualist, being a ritualist minion bomber is fun, her level10 minions have more HP than a necromancer's level18 bone fiends... Also I'm working on a really fun minion build, which heals allies and damages foes when raising minions...
I love my monk, since by the time I started a monk I got experienced with the game and so I was quite good at monking. I came up with my own protector build, which succeeded in difficult missions too, also she's the one who finished Factions.
I love my fourth elementalist, since she helped me finding out how the forgotten and laughed-at skills can be good if you use them wisely - Fire storm helped me kill abaddon with heroes and henches within 12:42... and when teamed with Uber Survivor Jin, They Pwn.
I love my mesmer, because she's hot, and because I wanted to play a mesmer efficiently for so long. My first chara was a messie but it was too hard for a starter chara, so deleted her and played an ele instead (Amy). She's only level9 though, but I already enjoy messing around.

You know, you're right and I'm right too. I'm a roleplayer since 1995. And though a character of a fiction is only letters on paper (or polar differences on a hard disk), they also have personalities, characteristics, merits and flaws. (If the novel is good, that is.) If you draw this out of an RPG, it's no more than a Space Invaders with better graphics. Cassie has a personality, has a story, has favourite quotes and she has her bad days too.

As a serious note: a character "object" in a game is also called an "actor" with programmer terms...

My favourite character is surely my ssin Shinobu. She is the first char I started playing, and I love to play the profession of Assassin. Always bring a build with a minimum of 3 Shadow art skills (always 1 ELite), to be flexible. Picking 1 target, jumping into the fray, do damage, jump out, to jump in again after a couple of seconds, picking the next target, not dying once...
Especially now we have heroes, I like to play her together with my ssin hero. My char and my ssin hero have complementary builds. It's fun to help parties get through hard mission, joining in with my 2 ssins. Showing them that both my ssin char and my ssin hero don't die, while other profs do, and finally getting respect for the profession of Assassin in GW. Pick target, jumping in with char, hero ssin jumps in too, foes crippled, poisoned, blinded taking damage from both, jumping out with char, hero jumps out (which works really well), pick next target, ..not dying once... I love Shadow arts and my Shiro's daggers. My red Vabbi armor fits right in with those weapons :)
Still I nowadays mostly spend my time playing my Monk, Warriors, Ritualists, Dervish, Ranger, Necro...still none of those can beat her :)

You know, you're right and I'm right too. I'm a roleplayer since 1995. I'll have to say my monk Athena. The first charachter I made 8 months ago and i've been in love with her ever since. She's the one I spend all my gold on. I had some other characthers but after a bit of a breakdown I deleted them all except for my monk. And there's always a challenge. A couple of months ago after pvping for 6 months I decided to practice and become a good pvp monk. And i managed to do that (still have lots to learn though) but it's a good feeling to be complimented on your monking :)

My favorite character is Ghost Zapidos which is Warrior/Monk
reasons:because my character rocks and i like warrior armor they look so cool like 15k armors they do so good farming and running and they are easy to use they are really decent ^^
I use sword because it does most good damages

He completed all campaings
He has some good tittle
Can play in the Domain Of Anguish.
He has 4 armors: Gladiators, Platemail, Luxon, and Kurzick with Primeval coming soon
He can farm all builds expect FoW and UW

Gotta be my Necro since they're so much fun to play once you break teh mold of just being a MM or SS.
She's had the most cash thrown at her but my Warrior has been bagging titles...maybe I'm just in the mood for running around with an axe hitting things atm.
My Monk is my utility char, when I need to help guildies or make cash she gets used and gets non of the rewards but she's ugly so I don't mind!
