Okay someone tell me what firebase zulu is?
Where you go to get into the shadow shard besides the winter event since I keep hearing people talk about it?
What a Hamidon raid is?
What I can do at level 44 besides safeguard police scanner missions to get to level 45 so I can talk to my contacts again.
Why when I get to leave at two o'clock today, the time seems to barley move at all?
Please help me understand LMAO.

Question 1:
Firebase Zulu is an upper level zone that you can access via Portal Corp in PI. Unfortunately our map is missing (not sure why). If you have been to Pocket D and looked outside to see floating rocks and whatnot...well...it looks like that essentially. Issue 2 brought us the Rulura and this is one of the places they originated from. Its pretty cool but a frustrating zone to navigate. This place is basically part of the Shadow Shard zone.

Portal Corp in PI
Question 3:
Hamidon Raid is a large group of heroes banded together in smaller groups of 8 to battle the nefarious Hamidon who resides in The Hive. This is an upper level conquest so no SK'ing up. You reach this zone through Founder's Fall then a pass through Eden. Raids are a long tedious on taking that requires phases to be completed in order to defeat the Jello Man. My past experiences involved much bickering between people and a lot of miscommunication. Thus 2 trips and I was done. When you do defeat Hamidon you receive some swank Enhancements that will bolster your powers nicely. As nice as they are I rather skip the event then go through the hassle. It does require a large group to complete....Somewhere between 30 to 40 heroes (if I remember correctly).
Question 4:
If you outleveled your current contacts then grind your way there. Zones to hit should be PI, Shadow Shard, Rikti Crash Site or do TF's. Safeguards would probably be best bet if you dont like the grind.
Question 5:
Because thats life, thats work and at time it can be a drag.

One question tho. do you need a contact to get into the Shadow Shard? Can you go to one of the portals and enter there?

I think you get a contact for that zone in the 45+ but you can go there w/o a contact. I believe that the minimal level is 40 but it may be 45, I dont remember quite well in my old age.

It's 40, you don't need a contact to go in there, and it should pop up on your map when you are in PI.

It's 40, you don't need a contact to go in there, and it should pop up on your map when you are in PI. |

Easily remedied with a visit to our handy dandy CoH Zones section. Lunar, you can find the Zones section, Badges, Powers, Mission, and much more cool stuff linked up on the left hand side of the page. :D

In terms of the Hami Raids...
Champion server has been pretty consistent with hosting them on Wed, Fri, Sat and/or Sun evenings. They begin to form just outside the Hive Gate at 9:00pm EST, and tend to get started around 9:30. We try to start with about 50-60 toons in the Hive, although by time we finish there are close to 200. Of course the more toons participating, the quicker they go...
More can be learned just by attending and observing, but a few things I'll share are...
They are more fun and organized if an experienced leader is directing the charge, for when you have so many personalities involved there's no telling what can happen.
If you attend one, placing your toon on 'auto fire' and 'follow' frees you to avert your attention to other matters. This will make more sense when you participate in one and are a 'squishy' archtype.
If you see a lot of toons falling because teams are unable to hold aggro or heal at a capable level, you are in for a long night;
And of course the prize, a beautiful dual single orgin enhancement such as a Damage/Accuracy, Damage/Range, Accuracy/Mez... and many others. If you get something you can't readily use, broadcast the trade... One person's junk is another's treasure.

and many more...
