Okay i was just siting around and my brother comes up and just right out of the blue asks me whats the funest class to play in guild wars and i asked him why he cared and then he reminded me that last night i told him i was bored while playing guild wars so then he starts be annoying saying well if u r bored then why dont u play another class because its a game and i am suppose to have fun so i said he dose have a point so i just went out and got a new char slot and now i am thinking of a class that i can play and my brother can play this slot if for a kid who is 10 years old he says he wants a class that is fun and is cool he says he wants it to be easy to play and fun mainly and he wants it to be in factions or nightfall he wants factions more because he says its better i do not think so but thats his opion so could u give us and ideas ty.

Normally i would say Warrior as it's the easiest class to begin with, but I really don't want to be held responsible for setting loose another 10 year old warrior into the world.

Do you like killing one target enemy less than 5 seconds? Then pick the assassin.
Do you like healing and then when you let someone die, they blame you? Then pick Monk
Do you like throwing retarded spears that anet literraly made paragons boring and have nipple-showing 15k armors? Then pick paragon
Do you like killing baddies at the same time? Then pick Elementalist
Do you like ordering people? Well you cant order people around but you can order Mosnters. Then pick ritualist or necromancer.
Do you like being blind folded with dental floss? Pick ritualist
Do you like being gangsta? Then pick a Male Black dervish
Do you like being a grim reaper? Then pick a white trash dervish or a female dervish
Do you like.. OHH you get it, it is based on you're opinions bro.

hehe.
I would Pick warrior because they are easy to learn to play, and the have many good builds to use for things. So, when you bro gets more exp'd then he can FARM HIS LITTLE 10-YR OLD HEART OUT.

class depends entirely on your preference, but for a 10 year old it would probably be best to choose either warrior, as they are the easiest to play, or ranger, which is probably the most diverse class in the game.

Personally, for a 10-year old, I would choose either a dervish or a ritualist. First, dervs can attack like tanks if they want to, and can also attack differently and more sophisticatively for older players. Ritualists have fun because they make ghosts, and i think the 10-year old would like that. And rit's can make spirits that heal and attack, so that could be tactically done as well. And finally, the main reason for either a rit or a derv, is because they attack so amazingly cool-ly. No other class swirls and dances like they do when attacking. It is amazing to watch.

oh dear god >.> this is so emberassing.. you guys make warriors sound so easy, and im TERRIBLE at it XD! im so ashamed of my war i dont even have her on my siggy! lol. The only things i do on my war are run..run.. and run! Warriors are usually the ones who lead (they have researched the map, and know what they are doing) They also must learn how to tank correctly and balance there damage with durability XD i still have not found the best build for myself (*.*) so i need to research more builds before i progress to nightfall XD (wants the endgame nightfall armor) hehe <3 ^.^
so in my opinion id pick a class that isnt full of importent expectations (so.. i duno about warrior, and deffinatly not monk) a ranger would probably be good ^.^ you have distance, atack skills, self healing, and the builds (i dont think) are tooo tricky to pick out :)
*plus you can get a cute pet ^.^ *

do you like sniping and yelling "boom head shot" on vent? pick ranger.
do you have a nasty habit of interrupting people? pick mesmer!
All classes are great, ele is probably easiest to play... pick a target and hit spells until it's dead.

oh screw all the classes, pick mesmer
mesmer ftw, my god mesmers rock, they pwn in pvp, and they kick butt, and they kill stuff, and they are hardcore, and they can run for governer if they wanted too, and they put the P in pwn, and they can cast hexes, and they can inturupt and make other classes cry, and they got cool armor, and they pwn chuck norris, and they can stick it to the man, and they can eat noobs for breakfast, and lunhc, and dinner, and brunch, and you know what? they go back for seconds! they invented the internet, and they are magicians, better than david copperfeild, and houdini, and it takes skill to be better than them, cause mesmers got illusion, and insipration, and dominance! the only class with an attribute called domination magic, and domination means to pwn! they put the C in cool! and make everyone jeoulous, and make them envy, mesmers were the popular kids in school, and they used to bully the bullies, cause they were cool like that, and they had rich parents, but were never spoiled, and they were adventurous and smart, and got A's on all their tests, and got a 20 year degree in college, cause they work hard, and overacheive, unlike all the other classes, so if you were to pick the right class, and make everyone proud....

could not have said it better my self (except I have a mesmer)
a few things though, mesmer are a bit tricky at first, mine is profecie not facton (as you prefer as a starting chapter)
but from having gotten a few in faction (monk and rit on starter island) and seeing a few friends making a mesmer in faction it should be fairly straight forward to move forward.
when I first made mine she was seccondary necro, I changed that to monk when I could cause of the rebirth and all, I think the illusion magic is the one to go with because IMO the major degen spells,
but this would be for you to decide, but I have one of each class except dervish and assassin, and to prove my point my mesmer is the only one to be tyrian trailblazer, elite skill hunter and about 60k away from 2 million xp,
I had not played her in awhile because I was helping friends in NF, and they either selected me to use monk or necro or warriors (yes I have 2 of them lol), but since I started playing her again I can't seem to get bored anymore
so your call but if you like a challenging and fun profession then pick mesmer and enjoy :)

Not true. Chuck Norris could break a Mesmer's back with a thought.
...Anyhow, on topic. Depending on your brothers time spent playing/knowledge of the game, warrior would definately be the easiest, or elementalist. Ritualists are awesome though, Spirit Spams FTW! :D
I say, experiment, test each or a few and make the decision that way. :)
