OK well i've been saving for my new comp for well...along time now and WoW finaly seems to have killed my old comp lol. So I figure i'll buy the comp now and upgrade monitor some other time. 2800$ gaming comp on standered ground shipping...guess what? The boreder people BRAKE THE CASE. Yes you heard me broke it, a big crake right down the side of the case, the contents are fine (thank god) but whats the custom art case is broken...sorry to rant but I really needed to and can't afford a shrink right now. (2800$ computer, I wonder why?)

Well maybe if you contact the company you bought it from they will give you a new case or maybe a discount for the monitor you will be needing. oh yes and don't forget Duct Tape fixes everything :).
Thanks to Death Fetish for this cool "siggy"

lil superglue or some duct tape on the inside might just do the trick and make it where you can't even tell it happened...but yeah I'd contact eh company you bought it from they might hook you up with a new one. I mean it's possible.

The order company is to blame and they should pay for a new casing.. If I were you I'd contact them as soon as possible.. And before you do, get any paperwork about the delivery and maybe the ordering of the PC too, together.. Usually companies want all that kind of stuff.. Best of luck mate :( Really sucks..
Either contact the company that delivered the PC or the company where you bought it from.. As you just bought the PC you should still get it refunded.. But you have to act quickly :) Id try to get it sorted asap.

I'm with Fea here. The company you ordered your comp from is responsible for the shipping. From what I know, the company is has to refund any damage cause during the shipment.
Just contact the company and I think they'll sort it out.

A little perspective here: You aren't living on the streets, be thankful for that. You're life can't be too bad if you just spent a decent month's salary on a computer...
On the other hand... I agree with the other posters. You just spent a nice chunk of change on that company's products and services, don't be afraid to let them know how mad and upset you are. Call them up, be indignant, demand restitution - but be professional - and if they hop to it on solving the problem, great. If they try to give you the run around, let them know you will be happy to spread the news to as many prospective customers as you can (here on GA we probably have quite a few) about the need to spend their money elsewhere.

Like most everyone else said, the company you purchased the PCfrom is responsible for providing you with a new product in new condition.
I work in a support department and we ship hardware all of the time. It does, on occasion, get broken by UPS. We have to ship the whole can-o-beans again, and offer the customer a free UPS tag to ship the damaged goods back. We do bill UPS for the issue, but the customer is not to suffer for their mistake.
Contact the company that sold you the PC, they have to make it good. You have plenty of resources like Better Buisness Beureau to hold over their heads. And don't be afraid to actually report them if they do not make it right.
I know that it was supposed to be a happy meeting with your new gaming gear, and this did add a little frustration to it. But you as a customer are entitled to the new product that you paid for. They might even send a field rep to simply replace the case. Still all new.
I do feel your pain. I'm currently still using my first in house PC. It's about 2 years old now. Three months after I got it, had it all set up, City of Heroes loaded, patched and running. The hard drive crapped out.
I made them fix it. I didn't get one lick of flack from them about it. Your supplier should be more than happy to jump through hoops for you. Call em. You may be suprised how helpfull they can be.
