ok here it is
I have a ranger, tyria born, completed profecie, faction and nightfall,,, pretty cool by itself only 1 issue arises
I have 185/200 attribute points,,, so am missing 1 of them, I am pretty sure it is the Vany one, but Gkar (my ranger) is close to a year old so I really cant remember, but I did go to the desert in serch of the forgoten wisdom quest and the giver has nothing for me, I took 2 of the profession changer quest then completed and went to Vany in droknar she has nothing for me,,, Any one has had the issue in the past, give me some ideas cause I am at a lost
(I dont really miss the 15 points cause ranger is pretty good as is but it might be nice to finish him up)

Well as you said, you took the profession quests and Vany didn't have anything then I don't think you are missing that one. I think there are two forgottens that you must talk to though, if I'm not mistaken. One west of augary (talk to him first) and one in the desert sea to the south. Hope this helps.

That's all the info I got for you. If you have already done the initial 15 attribute quest, and you obviously have, and have already done at least one of the secondary profession quests, the only thing I can think of is that perhaps you already have the quest active and just haven't done it yet.

my quest log is empty
and I think I may need to go back into skyward reach I just had an idea that maybe I may not have taken the quest follow up (we will see about that) but is gonna be tomorrow as I am off for the night

Did you complete all the Quests that the ghosts give you in the desert? Im not sure but i think that might be it?

Did you travel to all three non-mission outposts in the desert?
I think they are Heroes Audience, Seekers Passage and Destiny's Gorge.
I'm pretty sure that speaking to a ghost in all 3 outposts will kick off a reward or quest from Vanni?

I had forgotten to take the quest for the attribute points (back then) so now I have it and am on my way to complete it
