Instead of the weekends where you get double drop or double something, I think it would be fun to have some silliness.
You can have 2 elites on your bar for one weekend in PvE or RA/TA.
It would have to be worked to keep the game balanced afterwards, but I think it would be extremely fun for just one weekend.
Imagine those builds where you said "What if these two?" but couldnt' because you can only have one elite.

Healing Hands + Glyph of Renewal!
Shadow Form + Your Favorite Assassin Elite!
Spike Trap + Trappers Focus!
I imagine the programming would be difficult, but I could be wrong.
Either way, I doubt this would happen, but wanted to throw it out there.

Death nova constantly on all players and enemies! Or Zombie Weekend where when all players and enemies die they are replaced by a nuetral, rampant minion.

Why stop at just skills... double exp from missions!! or IMO. double gold drops (cash not items) or not..

As you said I doubt this would happen but IMO something similar to this is needed, the game has had too much emphasis lately on titles, money etc etc. A-Net does well with their holiday events (I cant complain one bit about them) but they need to do some silly stuff IMO to keep the game alive, I have found myself still enjoying the game but not as much lately as I have been too focused on the goals set by myself and by A-Net... something random and silly just might give that spark of fun back I remember when I first started playing.
