GameAmp Has A Trojan On The Site

Everytime I come to the gameamp homepage or pages within the site, I always get my virus shield popping up saying there is a trojan horse downloader.

yea, happened to me...luckily my AVG detected it imeediatley. Y'all really need to figure out how trojans and viruses get on your site so easily...like the one with the map and a couple in the threads i went to once, and now this one.

Thanks for alerting us to that, it seems your not the only one. We managed to pinpoint the last one and no doubt we will do the same with this. I will alert the developers and we will begin tracking it down straight away.

Luckily it seems to be something that most anti virus software can deal with easily, it's more of an annoyance than a major threat at this stage.

If you can remember the last post you visited or perhaps profile prior to this happening it may help us track it down easier.

thats isnt showing up for me on my Mozilla Browser.

i only get the trojan warning when using IE7

And that proves once more that Forefox is the better browser ^^
Seriously; we are looking into this as we speak and we will try to solve this ASAP.
If only i could understand why people diliberatly try to do this to a site and the people who visit...

The fact that it happens on every page actually helps find it. The code has to be in a common link between the pages such as the advertising and the funny thing is that it could very well be in the advertising as the advertising is active content. One of the funny ones is as I am writing this there is a google ad for a free scan for trojans, kind of ironic lol

I don't think it is every page, I've just gone to one of the screenshots on the main page and diddn't get the AVG pop up.

EDIT - Spoke (or typed) too soon, went back to look at some more and got the warning pop up

I'm not an expert on computers or viruses but lately whenever I click on some links that lead offsite my whole screen turns white and says cookie popup=... and so on with a full page of computer language text
