Ok, i know im probably re-opening a really old tread but i think it would be fun to know everyone favorite kind of music and group (or songs) or both :D
Im probably a fan of all kind of metal music (metalcore,heavy,death,...)
Personnaly my favortites groups are:
-In Flames (minus,vanishing light,dead end,behind space...)
-Unearth (giles,one step away,imposters kingdom...)
-Cradle of Filth (i am the thorn,dusk and her embrace...)
-Killswitch Engage (breathe life,rose of sharyn,in the
unblind...)
-A music addict, ChaOs

I like music that I like. I dont hate on certain music types without first listening to it. With that said:
My favorite music is definately Jazz. It's cool, it's calm, it's relaxing. Nothing beating jazz for me.
I also listen to Rhythm and blues (R&B). You gotta love those love songs (and those club songs).
I listen to Rap as well. You know... gotta bop your head with that beat. I know you some of you are gonna leave your comments on rap but, ya know, it's not all "Gangs, kill, money, and hoes." They have plenty of good rap out there.
Lastly, I listen to some Rock. No, none of that hard, metal, or death rock but rock you'd normally find in Naruto AMV's >_>
It's cool and it's has a nice music associated with it.

Hmm, I guess Rock and a little bit of Metal, but not the hardcore Metal bands that scream about Satan or whatever >_>
Honostly, I've never really listened to much Jazz, but I think that I would like it if I got into it...
Pop is so-so...

I like a good bit of trance and euforia music when i can find it, the classical dance music from early to late 90's will always live long in my heart.
Other types i like are deffinitly swing, celtic music and Acustic. Like some "pop" rock but nothing especially with that.
As for specific bands/solo artists:
Coldplay
Snow Patrol
Faithless
Dido
I gotta say tho i really dislike most of the beatles, mostly cuz in my mind the beatles are common cuz every1 else "loves" them, but mh,i like a couple of thier songs, them in general, meh.

oh gawd! I remember when the Beatles Anthology came out, my girlfriend at the time would play it nonstop...I think it's one of the reasons we broke up actually...

Album Of The Year IMO
