I have been having a devil of a time finding a group as an unguilded warrior.
I know people don't want you unless you have rank, but i know i'm better then alot of ranked players out there. Its just, i can't get a rank, because i can never find a group!
i just dont want to sit, switchign between distrcits, going
"Warrior LFG, have vent/TS, will run any build"
RAAAAH another night spent in the RA's out of frustration

thats why i dont go to much i was running starburst pugs before nightfall came but they were unorganized and didn't win much. anything else i never get groups because i'm like rank 2.

Ok dont worry about rank discrimination, once you hit r3 after all that hard work; you'll love ranked parties. It's for the best really...

Yea, as much as it does suck before you get to r3, once you get there you do realise why people do it. There is a massive amount of difference in terms of HA experience between the ranks, especially as you get higher up (or at least that's the theory, double fame weekend and ebay kinda messed it up a little). Like, I'd take an unranked person if I knew them, from my friend's list for example, if I knew they would at least be responsive to things said on Vent etc.
Remember that everyone above r3 had to get there too, and it was a struggle for everyone, so saying that it's rank "discrimination" is slightly odd, as it happened to everyone at some point or another.
Best way to get yourself some fame is to either start organising your own groups, by seeing what other people are running in Halls etc, or try and get into the occasional ranked group. Also there's plenty of unranked PvP guilds out there looking for active players, there's even a few recruiting on this forum. Guildies make HA a million times more enjoyable, if you take it all with a pinch of salt.

Well sister, it was not a strugle for everyone. Those first few IWAY teams probaly gained R3 in a few hours of play time.

Its not so much unranked players are bad players they just typically dont have as much knowledge of Ha and how to handle what on something like a relic run or alter match back when i was unranked i thought the same thing that i was better than most those ranked people although i may have been better than them at playing a certain proffesion or build somewhere else i just didnt have the same knowledge or practice in ha and if you dont ebay the acount rank pretty well reflects your skill.
Also unless your like r9+ when your looking for a pug your almost always descriminated back when i was unranked i thought once i get r3 ill be getting so many groups and now im r5 and it seems liek there are almost always r6+ groups so being ranked makes it easier but not by alot.
