Why do the screenshots save as jpgs now? i like the bitmap, more detail...

Well, seeing as the only thing I ever did with the bitmaps was change them to jpegs, I'd say it's pretty convenient. I've never really noticed a difference after I converted them to post them.

Most likely because so many more programs use .jpg instead of the bitmap on windows at least in my experience. To me the bitmaps have just been a nuisance but not much of one.

Well i guess you are right, however what if you want a nice, clear wall paper....now you cant get a nice wallpaper because it will have all kinds of smudged spots on it from the jpg compression.

You can still get .bmp images. Right-Click your shortcut, and add -bmp to the end of the Target: block.....for example.
"C:Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -bmp

yes.....editing....worked on too many map files. >.<
Guess staying up past midnight doesnt help much either.
