| A Dad, a Kid, and a need for a Guild |

Seeking advice from those on this great forum.
I am still new here (2 or 3 posts) but I’ve been playing and reading a lot.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to join a guild. Simple.
Here’s the not-so-simple part. My son (age 11) and I share our GW account (He has four characters and I have four).
Naturally, we are at different levels of maturity (my wife would disagree). What I know, expect, and how I would conduct myself in regards to being a guild member will not be consistent with those of my son.
That being said, is there still hope for us joining a good guild? And by “a good guild”, I mean a guild who’s more experienced members will offer help (if they can). A guild that will appreciate when new members help other new members. A guild that would be understanding of a younger player’s inexperience but not tolerate bad behavior (by warning and not kicking). A guild that wants to build a fun, supportive community and not a hang out for a bunch of goof-offs who come and go like kids in a candy store.

I'm an officer in Guards of the Gate [GRDS]. We meet your listed details, and would be glad to have you guys both around. If you want to check us out, we have our forums up.

and if you see some interest, you can just post under the recruitment topic, or PM one of our officers (moderators on the forum, for the most part).
We're a friendly, social, mature, guild of about 70 members. More PvE, PvP is not much of a focus, though some of our members set up groups and organize teams.
Just check up on the forums, PM me or post there and we'll get a response up.
Guild's been running for over 15 months now, so we're pretty secure. lol

When you are based in Europe and need a kurzick guild, check our website, and drop us post if you and your son like it.

I'm in a guild that will welcome anyone. We just like to have a good time while we are online and become friends. We do some Alliance get togethers at times, run contests, help eachother. BTW- On our homepage in the "Year in Review" it talks of stuff important that effected us. In such things one of our members BulletStopper left for Iraq and we had a big meeting ingame as seen in a screenshot somewhere on this site. We also have in there we lost a very close member and a good friend I made over the game in a Motrocycle accident. So as you can see there we can get emotional over things most people would see ridiculous.

Wow! Thanks for all the invites. I had no idea there would be such a great responce for my son and I. I look forward to taking the time the next week and check out of the the links you all provided. We're not in a big hurry and want to find the right fit.
I will say we are about 95% PvE but do see a future in PvP when the learning curve in PvE is not so steep. I'm a about 1/2 to 3/4 the way through NF and still don't feel like I know enough about skill combos, how to equip my heros to fit the quest and missions to my satisfaction.
Anyway, thanks to all and I will be getting intouch with someone soon.

We are Grenths Assassins.
We haven't been on a lot because we're mostly at school (the majority of are a little older, but kids at heart). But during the summer we play a lot! Everyone is an officer so there is no unfair kicking without guild leader's consent. We help each other a lot and commonly quest together. So yah!

You could join my guild Dark by Design. We are a helpful guild and many players who log on all the time. Our leader and officer are parents and an uncle and two of his nephews play.
