I would just like to post that the developers of burning crusade did a fantastic job, the new areas as well as the new quests (For Draenie anyway) are awesome and much more interactive and involving. One example is a mission to capture, not kill, a boss blood elf by shooting a flare into the air and attacking him with several NPC's. There are a ton of missions that give you new ways to explore the new areas. Lastly I would like to invite all those who are skeptical or unsure of buying BC to stop it right now and go pick it up, it's well worth it!
Just wondering if there is any way for a non-BC player (the coin required is out of my reach for a long while) to enjoy some of the sights and sound of the BC world.

Well if you haven't already, the
BC Mini Site has some games on it. If you complete all of them, you will be able to access a media player that has a lot of the BC music on it. You will also access 3 wallpapers (those are in our wallpaper section).
I can get BC if I wanted but i'm waiting until I get a level 60 chara so I can go to outland and stuff liek that =). And hopfuly by then there will be less swarms of space goats + traitorous elfs...

For those who still plan on sticking with WoW and not going to Vanguard or some other game I highly recommend it. For obvious reasons some people have to save up for it. Me, I'm already in debt up to my eyeballs, so $40 wasn't a strain on my current debt situation.
The quest layout is a lot better thought out than the original.
The First few instances are a little shorter, so less of a time commitment is required for them.
The graphics...... oh man the graphics. I've only been able to get as far as the Swamps, but I really like the new stuff. Just the sky alone is staright out of a Valejo painting.
World of Warcraft Don't hate Raza because she's beautiful......
Because she's not......
TBC got back to the heart of why i liked playing WoW, quests are very soloable and dungeons are very doable, and some are very challenging pulls. So i enjoy it. There is a lot of different factions to grind rep with, and lots of different world pvp and arena pvp token faction stuff to do. I am enjoying being able to level my professions and my character again, though the professions are flawed a bit. (ie the high end tailoring REQUIRES enchanting...BOOO)
Only Complaint: My server has too many people on it and makes the outlands crash but they are splitting Earthen Ring into two servers so i guess it wont be an issue soon.

Are there new instances with BC for lower levels or are they all 60-70 instances, just wondering because I've been working up a space goat and couldn't even get on the LFG list until lvl 17, and I know most of the horde side instances, specifically RFC, that you can run at 13, but it seemed like alliance doesn't get one until 17, is this right or is it just because I've started and lvled only on space goat island?
Yes all the new content is geared to 58+ so no new instances lower than that at this time. There probably never will be. But in regards to one of the above posts about not getting it till your 60. I don't recommend this. I would get it when you hit 58 as it's much easier to get to 60 from beyond the portal than it is grinding the mobs and questing in Azeroth.

Argggh. Okay, I'll hate myself in the morning. I'm gonna stop playing till I get Burning Crusade. I luv the blood elves look.
I started a Human Warlock in the meantime. Mailed all items etc and money.
I wish I knew this before. :-(
So, if I start a blood elf, where on the map do they start? Same as Night Elves?
Nope bloodelves start near Silvermoon city north of Eastern Plaguelands. They have their own new area like the Dreinei (yes i do always spell that wrong) have their own island off northern Kalimdor.
Dru
PS I just realized the two new capitals werent up so they now are under Maps, Capital Cities if that helps at all.
*nods* All I've really played so far is Blood Elves. They're like Night Elves, but cooler...and more Hordy. :)
Silvermoon is the capital city, as was mentioned. They have a 1-10 area called Eversong Woods, which is really neat (lots of copper veins, too!). The Ghostlands, which is the 10-20 area, is also really cool. There's a really cool RP quest in the ghostlands that takes you to the Undead's "Undercity" to speak with Silvanus Windrunner, which is just spiffy...and you get to watch/listen to the Banshees sing. :)

I agree with you.... the belfs are definatley cooler than Night elves, and....evil ;)
I don't have bc yet so my blood elf mage is a human mage, to play with my brother, but definatley making a belf mage/rogue/hunter when I get BC. For the Horde!! But, im playing alliance now.... still, Horde will always be my favorite.
