I'm not sure if this has been posted before but if so sorry for doing it again. I know that you can copy characters from the live server to the test server but recently the rumor mill has started again. Some people say that you can copy a live server character to another live server and I've also heard of people buying and selling characters. Is this even possible to copy toons from one live server to another live server? If so how does it work and is it against game policy to do so? How do people buy and sell characters anyway? I've been playing for nine months now and I believe I still have alot to learn about the game.

I don't know how you could buy and sell single characters, as characters are attached to accounts. You can buy/sell accounts sure, but single characters I don't think so.
Last I heard coping Toons from one Live server to another isn't possible.

Server transfers from the US to EU Servers has been a possibility although I think it is closing soon or already closed down (the transfer system that is). Selling a character is not possible on a toon by toon basis, nor is selling a character or account condoned or authorized in the EULA.

Hit the nail on the head. As usual. However, it should be noted a server to server transfer service may be in development. So it may soon be possible to transfer characters from one server to another for a small fee of course.

Hopefully I can tell my friend that there's no such thing right now. Although I must admit that some people insist that they can transfer characters from one server to another at present...so are they just bluffing? I'd have to say that after reading the responses yes they are. I do hope that this may be in development because some of my friends are on different servers then my main. Until then I'll just keep working on the server that I started on. I should also add that I'm referring to US server transfer to another US server. Thanks as always for the feedback.

I believe its rumored that they are working on being able to copy Toons from one server to another at a cost. So it won't be a free transfer but in the next couple of editions it could be possible.

Posi was asked this question in an interview not too long ago and stated exactly what others have said, it's being looked at, there would be a fee. He additionally mentioned some other games have this option and its done manually, he wants to automate the process. His biggest concern is stability, the last thing they want is a server problem and a toon being lost in the transfer.
