well personnaly there is no more a low show of respect for others then blind invites
for grins I was with a friend tonight and I got 4 blind invites in less then 3 minutes,,, for pete's sake peeps if one wants a team he / she asks for it dont blind invites
1- it is rude
2- showing you in a rush
3- probably have a PUG pressuring
so in other word if you have a PUG take charge of it if they not willing to wait for a team then they may not be worth it
but for blind invite please do stop it is not worth it

I love blind invites. Specially for highend PvE areas. They never ask what I'm set up ask.. then they get made when I go in smiting. ^^

Kanna, it's because of people like you (and me for that matter) that I always ask. I always get laughed at, 'of course I'm healing, what else would I be,' but I have to keep asking, just in case. And yeah, I only will do blind invites on monks, everyone else I invite when I see them looking and I want that class in my group.

Any group that blind invites is not any good IMO.

I been in towns where two or three 7/8 groups are looking for a monk and I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to scoop them up as soon as they start to fade into town. Especially nowadays when some places rarely get what you are looking for.
Just because someone is looking for a particular class and blind invites doesn't mean the team is bad. What makes a bad team is a leader that excepts the first 7 players to click join and you end up with 3 Mesmers, 2 MMs, 2 Tanks and a Assassin.
Nothing wrong with any of those classes but not my ideal team make up.

Well when most of the people in the district are sitting their not responding to lfg you really don't have any other options do you? You should think about thsi from their point of view.

Personally, I find blind invites a little humorous sometimes. I usually get them as monk, but there are times my elementalist or necromancer get them. I find nothing wrong with it, most of the time.

Please remember that not everyone has a massive guild and a wide network of friends to arrange missions with, so have no choice but to go to a place and advertise for people, and add people they think they need. I agree it is silly if you end up with a group made up of all warriors and assassins but still, if you are a monk you should expect random invitations, and accept some of them..I know that when I go monking I'll go with any people who want my help...
...provided they aren't just warriors and assassins of course =]

When i play on my monk i get lots of invites but I think its just good, I hardly ever have to go looking for a team if I need one and there is always the option to leave after you joined if you dont like the group. As a monk its easy to see if a group is any good, just join and ask what do you want me to be. If they dont care they're bad. As with all pugs its just look if you like the team/tactics and then decide if you wanna stay. AS for blind invites, keep doing it, just think about who you blind invite.

Hmm... I don't understand why a blind invite would be disrespectful since it's an invitation and you can still reject it... If you get a blind invite, you can still see who's in the party, which is also better than going into a party that asks for something then rejects you, or a party that is filled with only 1 profession (which can also be fun sometimes xD)...When I get or send a blind invite but get rejected I think it's way more respectful than someone who spams "LFG..." or someone who gets in the group then leaves... now that's rude imo.
About rushing... idk for you, but I don't really like to wait more than 1 hour to get a group that should be able to do the mission (tanks with 2 monks and some nukers/caster like everyone always asks) but won't ensure the success of a 30 mins long mission since there can some rage quitters (or other unfortunate event) that can ruin the mission... then when the party comes back, everyone is leaving the group then you have to waste another hour getting a new group... >_<

blind invites are ok. most times people are just normal people. i dont see it as insulting and they dont see it as insulting if they get rejected.

This reminds me... once, I got Blind Invited by a same player like... 15 times in a row (no kidding)... then I asked "What's your problem?", he said: "i want you join my group for mish"...
I said no, I was only looking for a bonus party. Then he said "---- you -----"
Lol.
