I am not going to get a lot of playing time this weekend during the Double XP time, but I am trying to decide what the best strategy is for me.
Should I try to level 1 character as much as possible, or spread the wealth throughout many of the alts?
Or should I work on only those in my supergroup group to get the much needed Prestige for extra stuff in the base?
What do all of you have for a strategy?

My strategy is to play with some of my higher toons more than the lower ones since obviously they are tougher to lvl. And i would suggest the ones in the sg. Prestige is always good.

Well it really is what is important to you Swiss. For me I am going to try to get Col Flag to level 50 from 44.
One thing you might want to do is maybe do all the low level Characters in your sg and get them up to 15 or something. :)

Last time we had this I pushed 3 different alts past that boring lvl 16-22 gap where you mostly do nothing but establish movement and pool powers like Fitness, then spent the rest of my time on my Villain main that had not been maxed out yet. Still working on ole Zarthog. He's almost to that first Patron Power!
I have very few Hero toons that are not past the grind-o-rama levels. So I'll probably play my Storm/Electric Defender mostly to get deeper into the cool powers now.
Probably also play my Elect/Elect Brute too. But I won't hop around on so many toons this time.
How many alts do you have in the lowbie range Swiss? That would be the deciding factor for me.

im probably going to start on one and play until i need a break or the team breaks up. then switch to another toon. there are only a few (4 or 5) that i really want to get levels with more quickly. i've settled down a bit with making new toons and have a core group that i really like to play with, esp my new tanker. i almost dont want to play her during double xp because i like it so much.

It would be easier to ask how many don't I have in the lowbie range. I have a 37, 34, and 3 or 4 in the high teens and early 20's. The rest are in the the range of 6 - 12.
I am a really bad alt-aholic. That and I don't have a lot of time to play, which means most of my toons are still low.

Ah...what to lvl what to lvl??? I really want to get my lvl 40 tank to lvl 50...but I think I'll lvl all my lowbie toons to lvl 14-16 or so first befor I tackle him...I'ma alt-aholic too bro...you should join my weekly TAA meetings ;)

Okay here is my strategy:
Champion:
1) "Plasmo" lvl 33 blaster to 34.
2) "Thugbot" lvl 26 brute to 27.
Freedom:
3) "Channel 7" lvl 25 'troller to 26.
4) "Baby Stinkpot" lvl 14 scrapper to 18.
5) "OG Hoodlum" lvl 6 blaster to 14.
Hmm...I guess this isn't a strategy but more wishful thinking. I guess my only real strategy is to be patient on what is sure to be an very laggy Freedom server and to stay out of DEBT! I'm guessing I'll probably be better off working with Plasmo and Thugbot on Champion.

Friday: (all times central)
11:00 am -12:15 pm DC Zapper, got 2 story arcs ready.. try to get him to 45.
2:25-8:00pm Zapper to 45
8-11pm SG stuff
11 until sleep: more zapper
Saturday:
6 am till RV gets busy Death Conqueror, prestige/inf farming off of turrets.
once RV gets busy: more Zapper.
once zapper hits 45, back to DC for inf/prestige.
and that's basically it.. all weekend.

Well when i started from level one last year i got all the way to 36!But this was without Powerleveling,but mainly I would spread out to give all your main toons and Alts a chance.I wouldn't level your toons that are close to 50 cause you can do that anytime in a breeze.It's your Decision man.Goodluck on leveling!

Very reasonable. You'll find a lot of toons looking to team to max out the grind.
If you're a badge hunter, be sure to grab the badge missions before from your contacts. It's very easy to out level them.

Good point Infernal. I never run "Badge-Junkie" toons during the double exp weekends. I outlevel those contacts easy enough on normal game time. But having the over abundance of alts that I'm just not going to bother with the whole badge thing leaves me a lot of options.
I'd really like one character to get some decent development this weekend, although a couple will get some attention.
I'm really leaning heavy on my Storm/Electric Defender. I can probably snag 2 levels for my AR/DEV Blaster to get him Full Auto and some slots on it, then go back to enjoying the leveling at a normal pace later.
I have so many to choose from, It'll probably revolve around what my friends need to round out a team properly. I like all of my combos on Liberty so it really doesn't matter who gets the attention. All of my badge-junkies on that server are already 50. I probably won't play my Villain main too much as he's my badge-junkie over there.
Then there's always my Praetorian double for Thundarpants. That Elect/Elect Brute.
Sheesh........I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to make up my mind :P

If you have any characters that are around level 25 and have NOT run the Croatoa arcs yet...RUN THOSE. There's some MASSIVE arc bonuses at the end of those story arcs. With the double XP, they'll be double massive.

I like playing the WS and Stalker and would like to see them go up in lvls, and it would be easy to divide the weekend between the 2, but my Corruptor is in those long XP gain lvls and getting pass those would be much easier this weekend. I have an idea of what to do, but some opinions what I should do would be great

My only strategy is to try to play with some of my friends that I haven't seen or teamed with in a long time. I don't care which character I'm on, really. And maybe do a SF in villains...the only one of those I've attempted so far was a respec trial, and it didn't go so well (stupid tree).

I've actually been thinking more about the "Strategy" itself. And I've come up with something of a guide.
Plead with the significant other: "But honey, they almost never do this. I promise to cut back after this weekend.......really."
Ask for assistance from said significant other with young-uns if they are part of the equasion: Signif other - "Daddy/Mommy has things to take care of. Let's go play Shoots and Ladders(Or Candyland.... insert whatever works)."
This may also require the use of a nanny or baby sitter if you and your spouse play together. Time to get a little internet bonding done! Single parents..... Aren't there some grandparents just dieing to spoil those kids?
Then once all other distractions can be managed or deemed unimportant. Put on an extra pot of coffee, load up on Red Bull, Full Throttle, whatever makes you head go all tingly and not sleepy, and have that readily available in an ice chest or thermos near your computer. Some finger foods(That will not get your keyboard or mouse all icky) should be kept near by. Super Heroes need to eat after all. Can't fight crime on an empty stomach.
Comfy seating: It may be time to move your leather recliner to the computer room for a couple days. Or move the computer gear to the living room. Personally, I prefer to have my own private space so I can cuss out the Malta and not disturb the GF.
Now, for the totally addicted, and those who are actually taking this post serious, there are a couple other items that can prolong your behind the keyboard experience.
Visine, Clear Eyes, Murine. Choose your favorite. Clear Eyes is my personal fav. Less burning to get the red out. You'll need to keep those eyes from drying up and getting all burny feelin.
Depends...... Not the question, the undergarment. Granted, you may lose that Significant other if they catch you doing this due to sheer gross out factor, but for you single gaming geeks out there, what do you have to lose? It isn't anything a can of Lysol or Fabreeze can't get the smell out of the air. Hey..... If brides at big weddings can wear these things so they don't have to take off that dress for untold hours, why can't we?
Then, when you have no possible thing that can divert you from the game, sit your but down and play...... and play...... and play....... and you get the picture.
It won't be the first time that I woke up in the morning at my desk(I moved the easy chair to the computer room years ago), wiped the sleep out of my eyes, and logged back on to gain another level. Waiting for the GF to wake up so I can ask her "Honey, could you make me 4 shots of Expresso?"
I don't think it really matters what we play, so long as we get some killer benifit from the advantage we get this weekend. Playing till my eyes bleed has never burned me out on any game. Although I've heard that it has for others.

OUCH! Well, consider this Big. The GF has already drawn the line at bringing me a fresh pair of depends. Or letting me get them for that matter. You, on the other hand, have no such limitations.
I'd say a really cheap incense like Nag Champa, or Strawberry should keep the room bearable until you're brimin over!

I'll probably just focus on running my Spines scrapper to get him up a bit. Unfortunately, I'll really only have tomorrow morning (till 4pm) to play as I have to work the weekend, but I should get some good play time in.

My advice for you is to play the toons that you haven't played for awile and the ones that are in the 6-12 lv. ranges and get them up maybe into the 23-25 range...if you can!!!

my plan is to
a) get Lethal Dose from 36-41, i hope (I really want me some thunder strike...)
b) get my scrapper from lvl 15-about 25/26, again, maybe wishful thinking...
c) get my blaster from lvl 12-lvl 20, which i am sure i can do if i try...
d)get my corruptor from 14-20
and
e) get my tanker from 27-35.
i hope i can accomplish at least one of these things, lol, i just wish they would make the team max # of mates higher for this event, so more could take the opportunity to team. also, i hate that my main and highest toon is on freedom, so i'll be lucky if i can even get online...

Thunder, that was...well...more than I ever needed to know....in any number of lifetimes....
My plan for this weekend, set aside dozens of alts and work on about 3 of my toons. I expect Medicalbot will get the most love since someone has to keep Big's sorry tanking butt alive.
