Hey everyone,
Was hoping you all could help explain what happened.
I PMed someone yesterday and went back to look at my messages and noticed that the message had been sent two more times, about 5 min. apart. It's looks like I'm spamming this person but I only sent the message once.
This happened to anyone else?

p.s. I did have about 5 gameamp windows open at the same time because I was readiing a lot of posts at the time.

I had this happen a few times before. In my case its because I used the back button and for some reason it went back to where it was sending, therefore sent it again. Not sure if its the same case for you, but its a possibility.

Well, if you click the button more than once while it is loading, because, say, your internet is running slow, the message will indeed be sent more than once. It's the same way people double post. So just send him another one apologizing.

I have had this happen to me before also. I didn't understand why the person i was PMing started yelling at me to stop spamming. Utterly confused, i looked back and found that i had indeed been spamming him. I said sorry and we both went on our ways. LOL

Sadly, this is a bug on the site. There are times where I have accidently sent a PM 3 times to someone. I don't really know the cause of it. But the "Powers that Be" are aware of it and have been looking for the cause.
