lets take a moment of silence because an outstanding warrior has left us today...
he died in such an early age even though he was aiming to be the to show the whole world his greatness... LAG has punished him for unknown reason...
nevertheless, a new warrior will be born and he will take the palce of Mushashi Seinsei Illl and fullfil his dream of becoming the Legendary Survivor... -END-

We are gathered here today, to pay tribute to a brave warrior.
Although the odds were against him he still strived for perfection and justice, where-ever he went.
Unfortunatly the gods of fate decided to re-route all of his internet traffic via bora-bora, microsoft OS decided to drop the connection for long enough to let him get dead.
Bad luck and i'm sure you'll get it next time XD

From the title, I thought this was going to be another one of those "I've had enough of GW so I'm leaving" threads....I now see that it's far more serious than that. The loss of a loved one can can never be fully overcome, and I can only hope that, as we say in Britain, 'he had a good innings'.

I know losing Survivor sucks, UL man. But you play 10 hours A day? (on one char that doesn't show the others you've played?!)

i hav 2 weeks off so i decided to spend 1 week on getting my survivor title... it wud hav been the case if i didnt hav this lag... i shud hav made it in 2 more days...
but its still feels unfair because the moment i noticed the lag i closed GW immediately using close window button(im playing in window mode) i restarted gw and i was rather shocked to see that my char has died even though i reacted to the lag early enough. i guess its true that if u close GW it might happen that theres a 30 sec delay as i hav read from various forums. iv attained much xp from doing missions and capping elites (did all missions in NF up to desolations with master rewards w/o dying) i was just outside droks exploring (did it the same time, 70%elona, 30%cantha, 25%tyria) and i had the LAG of my GW life...
but it aint really that frustrating because it was my first attemt on doing survivor. i know of ppl who had several tries until they got the title. even tho i got killed im still proud to hav made it far even though my warrior hav been always a melee in every mission/quest (never used a bow or range spells only sword+shield)
next attemp for survivor will take a while tho... time to get back to RL ^^
