Use a superior salvage kit.. will give you the option of what you would like to salvage. Remember to id it first! GL
EDIT. Almost forgot expert salvage get will also work!

Yes, either expert or superior salvage kit will work after using an identification kit, a regular salvage kit will only give you common materials and destroy the item.
