Hello all, i was just wondering.I was going to buy Warhammer, But im not sure, do you need to buy a game then all the expansion packs? Theres so many expansion packs i dont know which 1 too get, which 1 do i need to buy to play the game, then do i need to buy the expansion packs. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War Anthology, is this the 1 i need too buy? Please help

This site is actually of about the MMO warhammer that isnt released yet. :)
But i can still help you with your question :)
Warhammer 40k Dawn of war is the original.. If you havent played this yet i would just start of with it and buy the expansion(s) when you feel you are ready for some new stuff.
Warhammer 40k dawn of war: Winter assault is an expansion which i think you need the original for.. im not 100% sure, but if so its always shown on the retail box.
Warhammer 40k dawn of war: Dark crusade is a stand alone expansion which means it doesnt require the original. It offers a lot of new stuff, more then winter assault.
If you havent played the original yet i would suggest you start of with that :)
try reading some of these articles.. they give you a very good idea of the game. Or you can watch the video review :)

yes you do need the original dawn of war to play winter assault, just to clear that up, hope it helps :D

Yes indeed welcome to this little corner of GameAmp and thanks for giving us a great excuse to drum up a bit textual business for this area less we not be forgotten. Have a look around, enjoy yourself, and who knows you find on one of these boards a lonely unattended and tapped keg with a fresh mug hung on the spicket.
