Hey everyone.
I love guildwars
I only have Proph though, but still I really love it, and since i do mostly PvP it's kept me very saited (sp?) But lately, ive getting frustrated with not having the various expansions.
I was playing a R/W build i made in HA and they booted me because i couldnt play RaO. My monk stole a hex with inpired hex. but it had a damn lock on it and I couldnt use it.
So anyways. Factions has been out for quite some time, and Nightfall for a while too, plus with all the rumors about a new expansion coming out. I was wondering if anyone knew of any deals i could get the games for cheap.
I saw a deal over Christmas where both expanions were $49.99 (together), and Fry's was selling them for $29.99 each. but I can't find either of those deals anymore. so, anyone know of any others?
Because seriously, once they come out with this new expansion. What are you supposed to do if you want to get into guildwars? $50 for proph $50 factions $50 Nightfall $50 Newexpansion-opolous = $200 to get into and upto date for guildwars.
They gotta start cutting prices soon right?...RIGHT???

Well i dont know if they are, but there are stores that will eventually start more deals once the new expansion comes out, maybe they will make a 4 game ackage deal for like 150 buck or 100 bucks...maybe nightfall+new expansion for 50 bucks, i dunno its hard to tell.

Amazon.com do partnership (Nightfall + Factions) deals, though they still seem to be pretty expensive.

Actually Amazon.com is a dollar cheaper than play.com. Prophecies is $34.82, Factions is $44.99 and Nightfall is $39.82. But I've got a friend that bought his at Best Buy (not the online store but the store near him) and he got Prophecies for $25 as well as Factions for the same price. So check the stores close to you first.

I got two words for ya... umm err... e bay should be able to pick up expansions from that. tho be carefully cause once the game has had the codes used you cant transfer.

plz don't shop at walmart for various reasons, plus forty bucks is like almost what u pay for it when it came out soooo amazon looks like a good deal, also phone calls r cheap, check ur local stores

I think the patern does something like this...
Proph = $60, when factions came out, Faction = $60/Proph = $50, Nightfall came out, Nightfall = $60/Factions = $50/Proph = $40...
Someone said something about ebay...Because you need the CD KEY not the game itself...all you gotta do is use the CD KEY with brand new eBay account/e-mail account. Then when someone buys...they try CD KEY and it doesnt work...seller never responds...can't do anything...

Use UTorrent and get a CD Key-Gen + Download the expansions, and your in business.

Like everyone said before...BARGAIN SHOP!! Ebay for this stuff sucks cuz they can give u a bad key and care less since all they get is a bad review...

When I look for deals on games I usually head to newegg.com or gogamer.com. I just got the Collectors edition for Factions for $50. From my looking around that seemed like a decent deal. They have Nightfall for 35 I think. Also a heads-up for anyone looking for the Nightfall Pre-order disks, I hit my local Gamestop and asked if they had any. The guy gave me 4 copies of it and told me that because they were dropped from the system that they were FREE. So...if anyone is lookin for trials/charector slots/ or the freebie weapons for nightfall you might want to check up on it.

If you're gonna do ebay, be _seriously_ careful about it. I don't buy any games or media of any type from there personally.

I think that needs to be changed if they market these as "stand alone games".That is ridiculous.
