Not only have i seen Dervishes but ive seen assassin and paragons all under lvl 10 with max armor.
i know that a-net has dissallowed elites from the arenas havent they? But do you think they shouldnt let non-core professions into ascalon and shiverpeak arena i mean All 3 that i listed above are more powerful than most core professions! Lol, i think the should also not people with a certian armor in, keep it under 30 or something.

You said they are more powerful...i really do have to disagree...No profession is more powerful then the next...Mesmers have ups/down, tanks have ups/downs, eles have up/downs, etc. If a dervish would choose to play in the ascalon, so be it...just cause he may do more damage, doesnt mean someone hes facing hasnt been to like, droks or the desert. ive seen level 3's in the desert.

Well what im trying to say is each time, the dervish and assassins more than the paragons MURDERED a team, i had a Derv solo our team of 4, the rest of his team sat and watched
all 4 of us on him, killing him but he keeps healing and then kills all of us off, and calls us noobs, dont yo think thats a bit powerful?

So...do u have max armour, does everyone else have max armour? What if he has a really good build? I had a friend who gave negative 10 degen in ascalon arena at level 8...freaking owned tanks...

Wait.. you have a friend who was level 8, killed enemies by giving them negative 10 degen? please explain how..
Think about it, Negative + Degen is a double negative, negative degen is regeneration, A-net got it wrong :o it raelly annoys me =).
Anyway, more on-topic, He is under level 10, He got there fair and square, no raeson why he shouldnt be alloud to fight there,

I'm just a little curious, but how does one even do that? I'm fairly certain that you have to complete 'The Time is Nigh' before being able to travel to Cantha and Tyria, and the string of required quests to get to 'The Time is Nigh' is pretty long, so I wouldn't think you'd be able to do under level 10. Unless getting faried to Consolate Docks allows you to go to Tyria and Cantha?

Well when i used my necromancer back when the game was in the early stages in proph i owned their. I think it was beacuse I had bone minions that were at lvl 18 and they owned the lvl 10's.

To kill a dervish all you need is slowing and enchant stripping. Necros and Mesmers early on > Melee classes. Hell, early on, Assassins are pretty weak as well. Most of the best assassin builds require superior runes of some sort. The Dervish that owned your team could have been defeated by a Warrior/Necro or Warrior/Mesmer combination pretty easily.
Really, its no different than any other melee class with max armor's/weapons in the arena's. Though, remember, to use their req 9 weapons, they did have to pump a fair amount of points into its related attribute, or used a major/superior rune. For the most part, this either lowered their health or, made their other attributes weak, or a combination with the weaker attributes requiring major/superior runes. For the most part, they'll be pretty one attribute centric. ^^

It doesn't necessarily allow you to... but just as they got into Consolute Docks, they can be ferried to the other campaigns by other people entering them through the quest.

my friend and I play mesmer necros in the ascalon arena(we have remade them 2 or 3 times now) we just go and buy the best armor from ascalon..... anyways we have owned almost every dervish that we have faced(Backfire + empath + whatever enchantment strip you wanna use) DONE! lol assassins same way(empathy + degen) DONE! lol Paragons are easy kills except for some of the good spear ones(P/R's lol i have one and my combo is..... Poison - bleed - fire - 2 power hits) usually dead lol!

lol i used a mesmer to strip enchantments , burned off all of his energy and interrupted he still kept owning.

There is a picture somewhere on this site of a level 1 with 15K (prophecies) armor. Now impressive yes, pointless definately.
